⢠Lovely, friendly staff⢠Lovely food⢠Great atmosphereMy wife and I had an early supper at the Talbot Arms and we were treated as valued customers and the food was terrific. I had the Cajun Chicken with chips, salad and coleslaw, my wife had the steak and ale pie with mash. Both meals were perfect, and we both really enjoyed them. The staff were all great too, friendly and helpful, they are a credit to the owners.Well done everyone, I have one more night in Settle, we might be back!Thank you David, for your lovely 5-star review. We are delighted you enjoyed your visit to the Talbot Arms and thank you for giving our staff the credit they deserve.Hopefully see you for your last night in Settle!

We are a charity run Coffee House with all the proceeds going towards the upkeep of this Grade 1 Listed Building and The Museum of North Craven Life.
Tucked away from the main square in a stunning building is this coffee shop. We were a family of nine, and although we managed to find three tables, we rather felt we were taking over. I understand the waitress was concerned we didnât block any of the access, but she came over rather blunt and not cheerful or smiling. Had I been on my own, I would have left. The food we ordered, from tea cakes to panini and Welsh rarebit, was fine. One mention was the nice crockery, reminded me a bit of Denby! The tea room also has an exhibition tucked on in the adjoining room, a little bit if history from the past. Interesting to see times gone by.Thank for you for your review and sorry that your experience was not up to our usual high standards. Your comments will be discussed with the management team and appropriate action taken to address the issue raised.

Had a lovely traditional Sunday lunch at this old inn. We both chose the pork which was accompanied by Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and vegetables.A very enjoyable meal, served by a pleasant waiter, in comfortable surroundings giving you the feel that you could be back in Victorian times.Well recommended.

Built in 1874 on the site of an old coaching inn. The Buck Inn is set in the centre of the picturesque village of Malham. The landscape is breathtakingly beautiful and quiet, offering you a break from the noisy cosmopolitan life of the big cities. Yet its
We visited here after walking this weekend, booking a table to come back for dinner. There are special deals every night which we didn't take advantage of but they looked good. We all had different dishes and were all very happy with our food. The pub staff were very friendly giving recommendations around the local area. The pub is also dog friendly with lots of people choosing to bring them along which was nice. Great value fresh food with good service. Would definitely recommend.

All of our dishes are cooked to order using the best local ingredients, from chefâs take on hearty classics - freshly-baked pies, fish ânâ chips, melt-in-your-mouth steaks and the Beck Hall Burger - to modern British dishes with a Yorkshire twist, and not
Beautiful location and lovely restaurant. I thought it would be stuffy as it's a hotel restaurant and a bit 'vain' as it's so good-looking but nothing of the sort. If you don't like dogs I'd give this place a wide berth. If you do, then it must be the best place to stay in Malham. I reckon there were more dogs than people! The food was hearty and reasonably priced and service was swift and friendly. The menu delighted us both so much that we had all three courses. My partner loved all three of his courses - mushroom starter, mushroom and spinach wellington and chocolate mousse. I started with cheese croquettes, had the same main and finished with the passion fruit cheesecake with blood orange sorbet. Loved the sorbet but the cheesecake was huge and didn't seduce me in the way I'd hoped. Not sure if it was the solid passion-fruit jelly on top or the fact that I've just become used to making cheesecakes with good quality mascarpone which is dense, rich and creamy with lots of vanilla notes. Anyway, all good and a fantastic last night treat! Dear HunterDHunter, Thank you so much for such a glowing review on your visit to us! So pleased to see that you both enjoyed your dinner with us and we hope to see you again soon.

Professionally run by (apparently) an excellent team of ladies. Friendly, good service. Home-cooked, fresh food (the pie was excellent). Vibrant atmosphere with a mix of locals and visitors. Just fitted us in without booking mid-week in October, so suggest booking to be sure most of the time.
