This restaurant, although i doesnt have the feels of a top quality restaurant, with its very spacious setting with a pool table, and bar in the centre, and very big windows, you almost feel like you are in a fish bowl. But......... the staff are very friendly, very accomodating of children as they have there own their too, but most of all the food! Wow!!! I have had numerous dishes and can't fault any! The portion sizes are absolutely huge!! The roast dinner is one of the best i have had in the Llandudno and Conwy area. Very busy little restaurant, very popular. Would definately reccomend. Book ahead in advance

A small intimate setting for long lunches and evening dining. Under new management as of the 3rd December 2014. Now run and owned by local chef.
Faultless, fabulous quality very well prepared cuisine, not just cooking. Great service, nice atmosphere with room between the tables. Leave room for dessert and hope there is a chowder on. Lovely, relaxed and deserving of #1 in Llandudno.

Located right next to Conwy Castle's entrance, there is no denying that it is in prime location and, going past the toilets, one can link up with the store below (entrance is on opposing side of the building, onto the main road).Service was very good, with employees sporting a smile and overall good mood.Food servings were of a generous size but a bit lacking in flavour and, unfortunately, the coffee was slightly burned.

I rarely give a 5 star rating but this plaice gets it for sure! We ate in the restaurant and the service was quick, the food was excellent and those mushy peas were the best i have ever tasted. Fish cooked to perfection. Great portion sizes. Well done

We serve high standard, home cooked food, in a modern relaxed bistro atmosphere. We're open Wednesday - Sunday, from 12 noon.
Came on a Sunday evening with my teenage daughter. Food good. My daughter had the salmon and I had the steak. Steak was very tasty but I have had better steak elsewhere. Salmon was lovely and very well presented. Although quite busy the restaurant actually felt quite cold and austere and this may have been due to the bright lighting. Staff were very helpful and very knowledgable about the menu. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're pleased to read you enjoyed your meals - sorry the atmosphere wasn't exactly to your liking - your comments have been passed on as we appreciate all feedback. Thanks again. Located on the Deganwy side of the Conwy river with views over to Conwy and the famous Conwy castle, the Castle View provides a welcoming atmosphere to enjoy the best locally sourced home cooked food. Real ales, international lagers and good wines complim
We called in one lunch time after travelling from Deganwy Station to Blaenau Ffestiniog to see the scenery and returning. The 'Hop on hop off' sightseeing bus also passes by. The menu offers a good choice and the food was well cooked (hake with leeks and chorizo and haddock risotto). Dessert was a brilliant citrus cheesecake and berry compote. Service was efficient and friendly. Would definitely go again.

The Aberconwy Resort and Spa on the north coast of Wales is a seaside retreat which boasts its very own gourmet restaurant. Signatures is a swanky affair â and its slate walls, vanilla leather chairs and chi-chi chandeliers are the perfect backdrop for re
We had lunch there. The place was nice at the beginning. After many people come in it started to smell too much from the kitchen. The food were the best! Really tasty and good quality and perfect portion. Price was not high at all. But Service was terrible .. we had to wait for everything there were 4 waiters and waitresses but only 2 were working another 2 were ...??

We popped in for cream tea last week which was excellent - homemade scone with jam and cream went down a treat after a morning of sightseeing.

We are a small family run Bistro in the historic town walls of Conwy. Everything is homemade such as bread, ice cream; our menus change at least 4 times a year with the seasons. We make our own gluten free bread and adapt our menu accordingly for any diet
I have struggled a little with this review as all the other reviews are so overwhelmingly positive, however, my honest opinion is that although the food was nice and there were some lovely touches and effort made, the feeling that we were left with was of disappointment. I am not sure if we were not the sort of people who would normally eat there (my teenage children hadn't heard of jus or bisque and had to ask for some explanations), or if there was some other reason, but we felt that the staff were cold and not very welcoming during our meal.I can recommend the food, it was very tasty (although quite pricy), and can also say that it is vegan friendly, but it is not a place that I would go to again, simply because I left feeling like we had been an inconvenience, rather than welcomed guests spending over £200.
