We had such good food here; a really interesting menu, beautifully cooked. So many touches; for example, a perfecly cooked rice pud with hedgerow berries to top, so much love has gone into this food.A very busy pub with a good atmosphere, felt like a proper pub. Very efficient service; great guidance in particular with a food allergy.

We had dinner her last night. We started with the calamari and it was delicious. Could have used more tartar sauce, but very good! My wife and I each had the fish and chips! It was excellent. The young man serving us did a great job.

We had a lovely family dinner here, good quality pub food and great service. We booked before we arrived on holiday as had missed out eating here before and were glad we did, definitely worth a visit and the shared seafood starter is fantastic value. Would recommend and will definitely return.

Whilst travelling in Whitsands Bay area, remembered the Liscawn Restaurant. I had been there by chance many years before and remembered it well. The intervening years have not lessened the Liscawn experience.Great location and views, friendly service and very good food. I had the Lamb, it was very well cooked, tender and tasty. Well presented dish.Well worth a visit.

Pleasantly situated overlooking the Barbican, the Fishermans Arms is a country pub located in the middle of Britain's Ocean City. Real ales, a warm and friendly atmosphere and excellent food. The food is good quality and great value. Reputedly the second
Just had our second visit and another really enjoyable meal had by members of the family of all ages. Staff friendly, food delicious and presented well and a nice atmosphere each time weâve been. The pub is dog friendly (see picture) and even that meal was presented beautifully! We will definitely be back. Yay, thank you so much for returning to The Fisherman's Arms, you are now a regular! We are very pleased to hear that you once again had a great family meal and that your woofer was also given an excellent meal. Thank you so much for your support. We look forward to your next visit.

Probably the only remaining significant eating place in Plymouth's nightlife centre and most important tourist area which does not have a Tripadvisor listing. This is an old building with a newish internal rebuild and offers all day and evening food. It i
Perfect Sunday roast for me, we chose the lamb and my grandson chose the kids chicken, which were gorgeously cooked. Crispy fluffy roast potatoes, delicious cauliflower cheese, huge Yorkshire pudding and a lovely amount of carrots, cabbage & peas... Iâm sure Iâm missing something else too! Adding to that, the service was as friendly and efficient as always. We loved it so thank you.

Service both at the bar and from kitchen was fast and friendly. All but one of our foursome had the Friday evening special beer battered fish with chips, mushy pees and homemade tartar sauce. Good portion of fish with a very light but tasty batter. Pub a good choice of beers etc including Devon Red cider on draught. will definitely return to try the pie night

The Old Rowing Club...Nestled on the banks of the River Tamar. Breathtaking views accompany quality homemade food and the bar with the most choice in the surrounding area.
This venue has a lovely outdoor seating area, and that's where we ate today! Overlooking Plymouth & the Edgecombe Estate on a sunny day - with lovely food & a good beer! All 4 of us had the Gourmet Burger on a Groupon. We've been before & always thought it top class & great VFM. The food is extremely well cooked & presented, the beer nice & cold - and the chefs "Home made dessert" (not part of the Groupon, but a great add-on) - cherry & apple crumble really was lovely - & huge portions too! Can heartily recommend. A special mention to the lovely lady who brought our food out - so very cheerful, thank you.

A waterside village pub with a two tier beer garden, two letting rooms, well-kept beers, and a menu of pub classics.
Enjoyed a large very yummy Sunday roast. Gemma looked after us & Nothing was too much trouble for her.We Sat outside enjoying the great weather & beautiful location. Dogs welcome. Only slight disappointment was the lack of vegetarian options on the menu. My veggie friend enjoyed Breaded Brie & chilli jam which was a "Nibbles/starter"Just an observation that I didn't see any signs for this beautiful pub on the way. I'm sure you are keeping it a secret! We Will definitely be back.
