Eliza's Thai Street Cafe is a wonderful seasonal pop up street cafe based at DP's BAR Aldeburgh UK. We serve authentic freshly prepared thai dishes. Fresh fish from The fishermen on aldeburgh beach cooked thai style. Started with my wonderful Thai friend
Its been a few years since we visited this place and what luck the food is delicious. They will make it as authentic as your taste budsrequire. We ate in the bar but I understand there is a more formal restaurant space upstairs should you require it. Excellent.Thank you so much for taking the time to review our street food cafe. So glad you enjoyed our authentic food xThanksEliza and the Gang

Iâve just logged on to add a review and see 14bexr has beaten me to it! I was one of the dog club group.....and I completely agree with whatâs already been written about our two evenings at The Mill Inn. Tom and our waiter (sorry didnât get your name) were so accommodating and not at all put out by our big group of people and dogs as we all piled in. It was service with a smile throughout both evenings. From the delicious food, which all arrived at the same time, to the attentive service - all made for two brilliant evenings for our weekend away. Thank you and I look forward to revisiting again.

We arrived hungry after a full day out and ordered an evening meal. Unfortunately despite cheerful and generally helpful service from the two staff who had to tend the bar and serve meals, the food was moderate and did not support their efforts. One plate of food was lukewarm and the other, crab and crayfish linguine, contained only scraps of said shellfish and relied heavily on lots of peas! This was a shame as the pub itself is a cosy, welcoming place. Perhaps we were unlucky...

I've lost count of how many times I've visited this restaurant, it's always a safe bet hence the return visit. A good varied menu and a two eat for around £12 in effect half size portions which suit those with a smaller appetite. As yet I haven't managed the desserts namely due to generous size of the main course . The beer selection is small about 3or 4 real ales and well kept - from the main local breweries fortunately for me Greene King does not feature. I would recommend this pub.

Walked from Snape Maltings on Sunday lunchtime and decided to sit inside as it was cooler for our dog. We got a warm welcome and got a lovely table. Hubby and I had fish and chips with homemade mushy peas and tartare sauce whilst son had the salt and pepper chicken with curry mayo and a portion of chips. The food was brilliant, everything was superb, we couldnât fault it. Will definitely be back!

We are a country pub with dining. We are child & dog friendly. Closed all day Monday and Tuesday. Food served Wednesday to Sunday, Wed to Sat 12.00-2.00pm & Evenings 6.00pm-8.30pm. Long Sunday lunch served 12.00 to 3.30pm. Booking recommended at weekends.
As an American being in the UK for over 2 months, I started to miss the tastes of home. A coworker of mine had been to this pub before and her highly recommended it. I met him and a few others there after work one day for dinner. And everyone of us ordered their burger which was great. When I bit into the beef, bacon and cheese I almost felt as if I was back home. The pub is very well maintained, the owners are very hospitable and the drink selection is vast. Donât hesitate to say cheers at the Old Chequers! And cheers to you too! Its a great recommendation to hear an American loves our cheeseburger, we are honoured & thank you so much for the review- we think its great too ;)Best wishes, Andy & Carol

The Plough and Sail is in the rather uninspiring Snape Maltings shopping complex (apart from the brilliant concert hall). We had a very poor meal. The main issue was we ordered the special of a dover sole tempura, which was a nice tower of tempura swimming in a sort of runny fish and red pepper soup. So within a minute we were looking at a plate of food that had turned to a mush of soggy batter and fish strips. I have to hope that on this day the chef had simply got it wrong as there are so many other good reviews.

Booked a table, visiting area. Staff ok and were served promptly. Menu wasnât that inspiring but it was lobster week! So lobster was ordered .. very underwhelming considering the price of it (£30.00), fish and chips .. very small portion of fish sat on top of some cheap frozen chips with a pot of dried up mushy peas, (£12.99) and lastly the pork parcels .. again very small portion, 2 spring rolls with a mound of leaves and dipping sauce, honestly thought we had ordered a starter in error. That came with a dish of the lack lustre chips (£12.00). Dessert saved the day though, we certainly had room for one! All in all, very over priced. Looking at a few of the other reviews, the menu hasnât changed at all in years!
