Our 1970's Bar and Restaurant has been bought into 2017 with a mix of old and new. Its Autumnal colours make it warm and cosy. Two yellow brick fire places hosting log and coal burners for the cold Winter days and air conditioning for the Summer ones make

First visit after a disappointing Sunday lunch some while ago. A very "pubby" atmosphere on the night with somewhat "rustic" service, but none the worse for that....very much as expected and in keeping with the venue. The quality of food was excellent - freshly cooked with huge portions (a vast improvement on previous visit). Would recommend for a casual mid-week meal with great food, a decent selection of ales and a friendly, old fashioned country pub atmosphere.

We tried to visit the marina after a walk along the sea wall. It was admittedly 10 to 4 but the bar had many customers in drinking. The owner refused us a hot drink, despite the fact he was serving customers at the time. Attitude was as far from friendly as you could get- not even a sorry but a brusque we close soon. Nice! We won't bother again. Actually, we did say sorry, all of us do when people come in while we are clearing up. Obviously the customers were finishing their drinks and food, we wouldn't hurry them, but this is a very busy and popular place so we have to call time. No one was being served at 3.50.

Beautiful new restaurant with lots of history. Both indoor and outdoor seating available which all is wheelchair friendly. Friendly staff and great food.
Our second time here and the food was outstanding and Chelsea the waitress was superb. We stayed in one of the rooms and it was also a pleasure to stay in. One small recommendation is please upgrade the bath towels as they are too small. We then had breakfast and I must say it was the best breakfast Iâve ever had. The sausages were amazing. Again Chelsea served us and she was excellent. Highly recommend this place to eat, drink and stay, and will be back very soon xKeep up the outstanding work xGood Morning DarrenW739,Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We hope you enjoyed your stay in the Cherry Blossom Suites. I will be sure to pass on your feedback in terms of the towels. We are glad you enjoyed everything as a full and look forward to seeing you again. The Cherry Tree Team.

We arrived shortly after 12.30 hadnât booked but fortunately got s table. Most other diners had booked, obviously very popular. So Iâd ring ahead unless you go early. I had jacket potato with cheese and beans. Good pub grub. Very generous portion served with salad and coleslaw. My hubby opt for a main course he had pork belly with black pudding mash and seasonal veg. Good hearty pub food freshly cooked. We will definitely return.

A spur of the moment trip out and we just happened to pop in here. First off impressions traditional old style pub. Staff were very friendly and helpful no complaints there. The food was OK not the best even for pub grub chips were over done perhaps thrown back in the fryer. Kids nuggets were poor very hard and not very nice tasting. Scampi meal was nice. If you are passing maybe pop in but probably not the best food locally.

My first visit here tonight and I must say I will most definitely be going back. We booked a table, as we know it can get busy over the weekend. Showed to our table by a happy, polite waitress. We ordered our meals and within 15 mins our food arrived. Very fresh and hot straight from the kitchen. Food was very tasty. I went for the steak and Stilton pie with peaâs, carrots, broccoli and cabbage. I swapped the mash for chips. Lovely portion size too. My friend had the sweet potato burger with chips. I must say the choice in deserts was great! My friend went for the ice cream. I was far to full to eat anymore. Again nice portion size, a good generous scoop with wafers and flakes . Just enough and wasnât too heavy after a lovely main.. Nice atmosphere, staff attentive, friendly and pricing very reasonable. Will definitely be returning, and most definitely recommend to friends and family .. Thank you x Thank you so much for your lovely review. We look forward to you coming back again soon!

Long enjoyable drive from Gravesend to meet friends for a beer to two with lunch. Found this place, great location, very nice large establishment with outside terrace, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Only thing that let it down was the poor service from some of the bar staff, one of the young lads (maybe new) looked as if he was on something, very spaced out took ages just to get ice in a glass for gin and tonic. Still, great place.Hi Mark. Thanks for comments. I think you are unfair to criticise the looks of my staff. He can not help his appearance. I can assure you he or any of my staff are ON anything. i accept any criticism regarding service, but i will not have my staff personally attacked. Thank you

Visited here two years ago and I was the only one with a bad meal. The pea risotto was dire, apparently the soux chef had missed something out but Webb when he dud me another it was awful. Ended up with a burger eating it on my own.! However i thought id give them a second chance at lunchtime sunday. Two salads 24 pound was decidedly expensive. Light bites they definitely were. My salmon was fine , small but tasty. My partners blue cheese and walnut salad with apple dressing arrived ( after some time when the restaurant was half empty)with no walnuts and no dressing. Strangely we were told by the young barman, the chef had left them out (again?) For goodness sake, its not hard is it. Not like it's a special recipe. This was rectified ( after some time, where I had to slow down my eating). Still a sparse salad though.Wont be going back
