Came here for dinner with my husband; Firstly, I was incredibly frustrated that meals couldn't be adjusted for alternative items / ingrediants. Had the food been cooked fresh from order, this wouldn't have been a problem. My Pakora's were very greasy and oily. My main (A standard curry) was very poor and exactly the same as a completely different style curry which had been ordered. The final bill was very high for what we got (portion wise) and had items added onto it that wasn't ordered. All in all, I won't be returning to this place again. Try somewhere else....

Well have to say the food here can be rated as one of the best in the area and well worth the visit. must have been 5 or 6 times in recent times however on each occasion the bill has differed from the menu. To correct this we take a disposable menu and compare the bill. its either sloppy till work or something else. Anyway if you check your bill thoroughly the food is great

Contemporary style imbues every part of Redolence Spice, an Indian restaurant on Redditch's Unicorn Hill. Based around a palette of red, white and black, the restaurant's upstairs dining room is entirely modern with leather seating and white tablecloths,
This is a fantastic restaurant Believe me if you like proper curry then you will love this place. As good as the very best Indian restaurants we have visited and we are no strangers to Indian cooking. No colourings and powdered chilli just a really fresh taste and juicy meat.Highly recommended.

when two of you order lamb curries and they arrive as chicken curries the managers response was the chef only cooked what was on the written down order so it is not his fault I said well obviously the order was wrote down wrong there was no apology and saidHe would replace them with lamb and also replace the non-breads and chips which came with them when he brought the curryâs out he only bought one naan bread and one order of chips I said where is my naan bread and where are my chips his reply was I only took one portion of chips away To which I replied yes but my chips was on the plate and then we had a confrontation because he wouldnât replace the chips and says okay Iâll replace the chips and then I will go and replace your Naan bread no apology was offered and he just expected me to sit there while everybody else was eating just looking at a plate of curry so I just gave it him back and told him to take it away to sum it up the waiter couldnât get the order right first time the manager couldnât get the order right the second timeThe manager should not be in that position if he has no man management skills people skills and low customer relationship skills

My friends and sister enjoyed another wonderful meal last night. Loads of poppadoms with dips. My Jaluri Shahi Kurma was perfect with lots of king prawns, chicken and prawns. Great to be able to bring your own wine and good value overall. Friendly waiters makes this the best place for a great night.

This delightful little restaurant is quite simply amazing. The guys who run it are friendly and very accommodating with the food. Four of us visited to celebrate my birthday. My friends had booked a table in advance (as it was a Friday evening) and on arrival I noticed the staff had put up a happy birthday banner â a nice touch. They gave us a simple menu to start with, but said if we couldnât see what we wanted on there, they would be more than willing to cook whatever we preferred. The poppadoms were fresh and crispy and our starters arrived promptly. I went off menu for the main course and had lamb in mint and coriander which was absolutely delicious with a lovely flavour and good quality lamb. Everyone else at the table also enjoyed their food. The restaurant is fully licensed but you are also welcome to take your own booze. The décor inside is cosy and has been made to look like a cottage. Also, considering it is quite a small restaurant, the spacing between the tables is good. There is also the added bonus of free parking on their private car park right outside the front door. With such delicious food and impeccable customer service Iâm amazed the restaurant wasnât busier. I can only assume word hasnât got out yet about how wonderful the Rasoi Cottage is. A fabulous meal with friendly staff. We will definitely go back again.
