Please donât waste your money. Greasy, tasteless curry. Rice like an Uncle Benâs microwave pouch. Burnt naan and way too thick. Worst Indian I have had in a long time.

Passed by last night so called in for meal. Small but nice restaurant with nice waiters although one of them banged everything down on our table but mustn't have been personal as did it to other tables too! Menu is very varied and wine list reasonable too. The food was absolutely tremendous in quality and quantity, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals and (despite said waiter slamming stuff down!)we'd return. Car park to rear. In an odd location (next to petrol station off the A1)but well worth seeking out as the food really was excellent.

I visited here for the first time as I had heard lots of good things and was passing it on my route home. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the staff were all welcoming and friendly throughout our evening. The menu was smaller than most however this was not a problem as there was still plenty to choose from and a note on the menu to say that you could ask for other dishes. The food was pleasant on the eyes as it was so well presented and more importantly it all tasted absolutely delicious! My partner and I left feeling satisfied and full up, I would recommend this restaurant and definitely return again.

I organised my wifes birthday party here. We were looked after by owner himself and two staff. The team was very friendly and welcoming. They looked after our guests very well. The food served was warm and on time for 40+ guests. Everyone enjoyed the food, especially the non-vegetarian dishes were delicious. All our guests were extremely happy with the service. Would definitely go again.

We ate here on a Saturday night, the friendly staff showed us to a nice table. Advice on type and spice content of the choice of curry on offer. The food was really good as was the service. This is a bring your own alcohol restaurant. We both really enjoyed our choices and will definitely be back.

My husband and I have been customers of Rajnagar since it opened, we love their cooking and the warm welcome we receive when we visit the restaurant. Having said this, we got a takeaway delivered to us at home on Tuesday night, and the chef had done wonders! We had the Lamb Saag, Sag Aloo and Chicken Bhuna; they were absolutely perfect even more delicious than usual. Fantastic!!

I do look carefully at Tripadviser when Iâm staying somewhere where we have no knowledge of local restuarants. What a gem this Restuarant is, the starters and main were truly delicious and I would 100% recommend a visit if you want a Indian crusine. When we fly from Newcastle Airporr again and we want a Indian meal, we will return. .

Excellent choice, good service and our order was ready quickly and on time.My only criticism was that the dishes did have oil or ghee in which I donât like so although it was tasty, it didnât feel healthy.
