First visit here to this restaurant and Newcastle whilst visiting our son who is studying hereLovely interior and atmosphere and the staff were very pleasant Good choice on the menu although not as vast as your âaverageâ menu but the choices were very variedThe poppadoms were small in a basket which was much better than a large whole one and the choice of sauces with it were delicious My husband chose a lamb shank rogan josh which he loved and son had a lamb biryani which he also loved Me and daughter in law had a chicken tikka masala and to be fair it was the nicest one weâve ever had anywhere and the basmati rice was lovely alsoNeed to book here as everyone coming in behind us were being turned away and there is nowhere to wait in here at allYou get given an hour and a half time slot which is ok when itâs busy Will definitely return when next in Newcastle

We went here on a very busy night in Newcastle after the championship rugby final. It was extremely popular and rightly so as the food was excellent and the staff were all friendly. We had the banquet and it was probably the best we have had. Drinks are very reasonably priced. At the end of the meal the manager sorted taxis for us which was much appreciated.

This snack food outlet is one of the many delights of Grainger Market.We stop here often and are never disappointed. There is a small menu of freshly made, well spiced, Indian street food - all vegan.It's very tasty food that is also guilt-free. Even the plates and cutlery are chosen to have minimum carbon footprint. The whole place has care for your body, your spirit and our planet as core values. Yummy and very good value for money.

I organised my wifes birthday party here. We were looked after by owner himself and two staff. The team was very friendly and welcoming. They looked after our guests very well. The food served was warm and on time for 40+ guests. Everyone enjoyed the food, especially the non-vegetarian dishes were delicious. All our guests were extremely happy with the service. Would definitely go again.

So what to say wagamama a pretty 4 star restaurant. Above average on the most of times. But this time round jesus 1 star all round. Went for the pad thai... tasteless and not pad thai. Friends noodle her beef was over cooked even tho it supposed to be medium rare. Drinks took ages to come. We had to ask again to get them. Service was slow food was weak. The que for wagamamas was huge so we decided to try here. Took a while for food to come out but thatâs fine when things are cooked fresh, starters of prawn tempura & chicken satay were nice.Waited amount 20/25 mins for main after that and my partner received completelyThe wrong dish. They took it away then no one came back to explain what was happening so while I was eating my partner had to grab the attention of the waiter to ask. Then someone came back to say they were making it now, my dish would have been cold if I hadnât of ate it on my own. So my frustrated partner decided to cancel his order. We have eaten in indian restaurants all over the UK, Jaipur is one of the very best not only for the food, the service was exceptional. I visited here for the first time as I had heard lots of good things and was passing it on my route home. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the staff were all welcoming and friendly throughout our evening. The menu was smaller than most however this was not a problem as there was still plenty to choose from and a note on the menu to say that you could ask for other dishes. The food was pleasant on the eyes as it was so well presented and more importantly it all tasted absolutely delicious! My partner and I left feeling satisfied and full up, I would recommend this restaurant and definitely return again.
