The new 120 seat Kashish offers diners a whole new experience of fine dining and aims to change peopleâs perceptions of Indian Food. Opened in July 2012 and headed up by a team of experienced and award winning chefs it has gone from strength to strength b
Visited with a group of friends for dinner today evening.Management has a peculiar style of serving all the items in kadhai(wok) but not in serving bowl. There was no serving spoon to take out the portion from kadhai. Entire experience was unique and caused inconvenience for all of us.No hand wash facility in the dining room. Wash room is small and within a room having one entry for both male and female users.Food is of average taste.

Our restaurant is dedicated to providing the finest dining experience. Our cuisine is fine Thai. Only fresh and the very best and authentic ingredients are used. Our chefs have pride in their abilities and do not use MSG. Try Blue Moon for the healthy and
We arrived at 7.50pm on a Saturday night. Our table was booked for 7.45pm. We were greeted rudely for being 5 minutes late and told to wait in the lounge. We had to wait ten minutes. We ordered after hunting down a waitress and waited until 8.45pm for our starter. Once we had finished we waited a further 30 minutes for our main that never arrived, I asked the waitress where our food was and she said it would be ANOTHER half an hour because there was a big table in.... so nearly 2 hours from ordering they expected us to wait for our main course?? Safe to say we got up and left. We had to pay for our tiny starters and drinks though which came to £27... I think under the circumstances we should of been offered something there, will never return. Absolutely terrible service, poorly run, too busy and no people skills. Ruined our Saturday night.

Sultan of Lancaster immediately makes you feel like youâre in for a treat as soon as you enter. Housed in a disused church on Brock Street in the city centre, not far from Lancaster Cathedral, this suave Indian eatery sets the scene with beautiful pillars
Had a important business meeting so wanted to impress my colleague and take him to a fine dining. The Sultan with is beautiful architecture was my top choice. Was a great evening with the perfect atmosphere. The food was v delicious. We had a karai gosh with a garlic naan and chicken jalfrezi with pilau rice. Amazing flavours and spices! Staff were very pleasant. Meeting was v successful. I shall be attending more often for sure!

Popped in for an evening meal whilst having a break in the area. The early bird menu offered great value-poppadoms,2 x starters,2 x mains plus either a naan or rice each for £24.We enjoyed the dishes especially the curries-pathia and dansaak were really tasty.Service was brisk.Should we return to the area we would most certainly return to the Saffron.

The only Malaysian Chinese Noodle Bar in Lancaster! Enjoy our fabulous dishes in the restaurant upstairs, and then go downstairs in the supermarket to find ingredients to create your own at home!
This restaurant is above a Chinese supermarket and not obvious if you did not know it was there or were looking for it. It is simply decorated. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a set, and an a la carte, menu. I had three courses for less than £10: chicken sweet corn soup; fried chicken wings; sliced pork with vegetables and fried rice. Each dish was well cooked and tasty. The portions were also a good size and, unlike some set menus, they did not skimp on the ingredients - so the vegetables with the pork were a good selection and not just Chinese cabbage. A bottle of Chinese beer was £2.90.

Have visited 3 times in quick succession, having been looking for a good Indian restaurant as many local ones are fading fast.Staff are very nice, friendly and efficient.Food is very good, no complaints from any of us on any visit. Lamb chop starters are really good as is the chicken chat. Every main course has also been good.Very reasonably priced. This will be my go to Indian restaurant now!

Weâve been stopping by at Sanahâs stall in the market regularly ever since moving to Lancaster to study 5 years ago. Every time we come the food is consistently delicious, and we are welcomed back warmly. I think everyone who visits has their own particular favourite dishes, but weâd always recommend the biryanis and vegetable samosas to someone who hasnât been before!!

Formerly Known as Thai Rose and after launching our unique steakhouse venture we now merged the two restaurants under one banner. Sited in an iconic building with panoramic views over the bay. Our renowned Thai chef has over 25years experience of Thai Cui
We have visited her approximately 4 times now for thai food. Every time we have been the food has been spot on and authentic. We always order starters and mains each time we go and its reasonably priced ie 3 people 2 courses with drinks £68. The food is excellent quality. The king prawns with garlic and chilli are to die for the sauce they come in is delicious. Highly recommend this place.
