It was very nostalgic opening in this lovely city; I spent a couple of my much younger years here. The market square reminds me of the fruit and veg shopping that I used to do on my bike. Never in a million years did I imagine returning as a restaurant ow
Feel sorry for the other Thai restaurants in Salisbury, which are family run businesses with a more traditional feel and much better food, but I guess if you like a more chain ran âNandoâsâ Thai experience then this is for you, enjoy but I will be at the other place

Located right in the heart of the city, with many attractions close by including the salisbury cathedral and theatres. Also, just a little further along, the famous stonehenge (tour bus available from the train station). We offer asian food inspired by th
We had been wandering for a while trying to find a suitable place for lunch on a busy Saturday. Wagamama looked cool! Had a great lunch and staff were very good explaining the menu. Weâve been here a couple of times before and itâs always been lovely, but suddenly, it isnât. I donât know if the management has changed or what, but our food was awful. Prettily presented, yes, but the stir fry bore no resemblance to anything fried, and just came in a brown juice, more like a stew, and my Pad Thai was a heap of overcooked noodles and beansprouts in something pink and sweet, very nasty. None of these dishes had the stamp of authenticity, and vegetables were hard to cut. Weâd have done better to go to Wagamama, where everything is cooked fresh and properly and the noodles donât stick together. We certainly wonât be going to Sarocha again. Shame.

Our party of five booked for a Saturday night. This place is tiny, and doesnât look much from outside, but please donât let that put you off! This place is amazing! The ladies were incredibly attentive, service was swift and nothing was too much trouble, even though it was really busy. The toilets were clean. The food was amazing. We ordered a myriad of starters and mains and all of them were hot and full of flavour, on different levels. At no point did a dish become boring or âsameyâ. We had a feast for five, bottles of wine, gin and tonics and beers and the bill was £130.

We booked in to Anokaa for a pre theatre meal on the recommendation of one of the couples in our group. It was a very good recommendation.Modern decor without being garish, quick friendly and attentive staff who are not intrusive greater a great atmosphere. As we were under time constraint for the theatre we chose from the 2 course set menu which offers a good choice of starters and mains. The food arrived promptly with very modern looking presentation and tasted as good as it looked. I am always impressed by staff who faultlessly remember what everyone (6 of us) ordered and present each diner with their order without question. £25 a head with drinks was very reasonable for the excellent meal. All in all a great dining experience ( the theatre was good too )

I have to say for the prices charged the food quality was very mediocre.Initially the service was exceptionally poor, with the older lady on the front desk being quite rude and unprofessional. She was more interested in her regular people, than first time visitors. This place is local to me and had every potential of being a regular, however the attitude would put me off. The starters were the best part personally. However I felt the mains were very oily and greasy, not much choice for someone with a lactose intolerance. When asked whether any Italian could be tomato based and not milk, service staff said no. No lacto free desserts. Overall the cater for gluten and vegan but not lacto intolerant, compared with local competition who do cater this route. I had a very limited choice with noodles, which were takeaway standard at best with a bowl caked in oil and nowhere near the mixed assortment of veg advertised. The noodles were chewy in places.Bitterly disappointed for the prices charged. Like I said the starters were amazing hence I have given 3 star and not 2 star as the starter did save them.I am unsure whether I would come again. If the cheffing and service staff understood lactose intolerance and lowered prices to match food standards I may consider returning. Very disappointed as friends recommended here, which didn't meet expectations.

Premium price with thick batter and grease . Sweet n sour packed out with chopped onions with source so thick you could stand your fork in it . Nodules with strips of fatty unknown meat was off putting. All in all we would recommend trying another Chinese take away in the town as there is at least 3 within walking distance. So expensive for the low quality food . Had an old look to it .

Enjoy excellent Thai cuisine in a stylish setting over at Siam Smile, where youâll be met with a range of Southeast Asian dishes that will transport you to a happier state of mind. Found on Church Street inside the Antrobus Arms Hotel, this restaurant bri
Stumbled across Siam while having an overnighter at the Travelodge. Based inside a hotel (which looks a little 'tired' from the outside) but the restaurant itself is well presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was excellent, and good portion size and reasonably priced to boot. Will certainly visit again next time we're in the area.

We are a traditional Indian fully licensed and air-conditioned seventy-six seat restaurant in the centre of Amesbury. We also have a private function room seating up to twenty- four diners. At the Tandoori Nights Indian Restaurant we pride ourselves on ser
I have visited this restaurant several times with colleagues and keep making the same mistake of eating too much poppadum and dips because they taste so good. It's not the cheapest but it's also not too expensive for the quality and quantity. So good value really. There are a lot of happy uniformed attentive staff so you never have to wait long to get served or get a fresh round of beer.Once I had to be rolled out the door after also having a sharing starter then an ostrich curry for a main, as you also end up tasting all the other dishes on the table. The only problem is that there is too much choice and the food tastes so good that you can't stop eating. You certainly don't need to worry about being hungry afterwards. I never bother with the desserts as they are all pretty similar and too sweet and milky. I'm sure they're fine, I 'm just not a fan.
