Stone Bridge Inn & Restaurant is a uniquely enchanting, European-style 13-room Country Inn with casual, fine dining restaurant, and cozy, post & beam, multi-level bar with pub menu. Stone fireplaces in the bar and several guest rooms with corner fireplaces. Serving dinner Thursday through Sunday, plus additional nights during holidays. Full bar with extensive wine and beer lists, liquor, martini menu. Small bands most weekends in winter and summer, outdoor dining in summer. Beautiful views and perfect setting for weddings, reunions and special celebrations.
We have loved the Stonebridge Inn and stayed and dined here regularly for years. We wish that the facility would be updated and renovated. The restrooms in the Pub and restaurant should not be reminiscent of a dive bar. The menu needs to cycle and offer more local options. The rooms and shabby but no longer chic.
The pool area is deplorable; with the rusted and falling down roof to the smell of cigarette smoke wafting through the air, my wife and daughter refuse to go there. The "Hot Tub" needs some serious maintenance.
We go back because its a lovely setting. It can be warm and cozy on a winter evening. Its proximity to skiing at Elk Mountain is a huge draw. We love the Stone Bridge Inn, Restaurant and Pub and wish that it could be so much more!

Stayed a few days and enjoyed great scenery and beautiful stone home. The rooms a very large, comfortable and nicely decorated. Dinner was well prepared and presented and the staff was attentive and accomodating. I don't play, but the adjoining golf course was reported to be terrific.

We stopped on a trip up to the Finger Lakes region of NY, late at night for dinner because we had been on the road for a while, we were hungry, and this was the only place we saw for miles. Are we glad we did. The food that we ordered was simple, perfectly prepared, and at a great price. But the PIES!! OH THE PIES!! SO MANY DIFFERENT TYPES OF PIE!! We couldn't leave until we had four pies in tow. They have at least 12 different types of pie-- Banana Cream Pie. Coconut Custard Pie, Apple Pie, Caramel Apple Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Pie, Strawberry Rhubarb Pie, Peach Crumble Pie, Fruits-of-the-Forest Pie-- I can't remember them all. All homemade and fabulous. This place is definitely worth a special trip and I highly recommend it!

We heard about Frank's Place through word of mouth. At first we had a hard time finding it, but with some directions from "locals" we got there and now we know the way by heart.
Just as friends have told us, Frank's serves large portions of homestyle food at reasonable prices. Everything we've tried so far has been very good and well-prepared. My husband is fussy about Italian food and he really likes all the entrees he's eaten here.
We usually go for a Sunday afternoon dinner and it's always busy, which is a good sign. Yes, it can be loud at times, but in a good way. Diners are talking, laughing, and enjoying themselves -- that's what people do when they're having a good meal. I'd be worried if it was too quiet!
The waitstaff is friendly and helpful, but not pushy. The desserts are delicious, too -- if you still have room after a hearty meal. The bar has a sufficient selection of drinks and can satisfy most any request. We always feel welcome and are greeted when we arrive and acknowledged when we leave.
Frank's Place has become one of our "go to" places to eat and we're glad to add it to our list of favorite area restaurants.

They use local products wherever they can. Their breakfasts are always excellent. You won't find sausage patties any fresher than they serve here. A touch of salad. A little fruit. And some sweet bread (we had strawberry/pecan) to accompany your eggs. If there is one drawback, it's a little bit pricey but you pay for what you get.

Use to go there pretty often but I think the owner lost interest in the place. The backroom- the dining area- was always cluttered, service was poor, heat was usually off. the food had been pretty good but we stopped going for the reasons mentioned - oh and the last time we went, the bar/restaurant bathroom room was out of commission and we were told to use the bathroom an the upstairs apartment - which I don't even want to get into.

Stopped in to Finch Hill for Sunday morning breakfast. Glad we did . The food was good, no one complained about anything at the table. Waitress was friendly and kept the coffee flowing. I had the special of Pancakes, Ham and 2 eggs $6. I thought that a good deal. Pancakes were very good nice and golden brown. I would recommend eating here to my friends.

This place is our halfway point on a frequent trip to our cabin. Always a great stop, with local "entertainment" and good food. There is a wide variety on the menu. Wings on Wednesday, but a pizza/wing special on Sunday was our choice this time. And it was a great choice! Mary suggested Charlie wings, and they were terrific. We'll be stopping here regularly.
