This tatar restaurant, located in a basement under another much more expensive (and not so good) restaurant is worth a flight to Kiev alone. I can recommend both the staff, the meals and the atmosphere. We needed to have an early lunch one day, and cane half an hour before the establishment opened. They saw no problems with that, even though all tables were turned up-side-down, and the floor was about to be washed. They quickly fixed a table in a corner, and made sure that we felt welcome from the very first second. The food is just a story for itself, the soup is a dream and the fried bread with meat in it (what's the name again?) is a positive surprise. Go there, and ask them to surprise you. This is a great adventure.

GODZ HOOKAH COCKTAILS - authentic hookah bar with the author's menu of teas. Above the cocktail menu, the best barmen of the capital worked to create real tastes of relaxation.
Bad: Do not accept credit cards(hopefully not for long). Prices for food are quite high, even though the food is nice.Good: It was a pleasant experience and the hookah was excellent. Friendly staff.

Musafir is a traditional Crimean Tatar kitchen place in down town Kiev. We serve Crimean Tatar soups, traditional meat pastry - chebureki and jantik, steam dumplings - manti and hanuma; meat pies - burma and kobete; grilled menu - shashliki, lula, steaks.
We got talking to our Uber driver, was Crimea, and we asked him for restaurant recommendations. He suggested Musafir since it is food from Crimea. It did not disappoint! Although, the entrance was off the beaten path, it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere was lovely - both staff and interior style. There was a live band playing traditional music. The food was fantastic. They brought fresh bread and hummus as an appetizer. I had the lentil soup which a mint drizzle. It was filling and delicious. My mom has the chicken kebab and loved it. We had baklava and Fultu for dessert. The Fultu was warm but my least favourite part of our meal. It was such a wonderful treat to find Musafir. A definite must visit when in Kiev!

"If you want to understand the human, sit down at the same table" always said in my big Georgian family. We love Georgian traditional cuisine, wine and laugh. Thatâs why I, Manana, linked my live with delicious food. So come to my kitchen and will divide
This evidently popular Georgian restaurant is located across the square from where I was staying at the Ibis Central Railway Station Hotel. I decided to eat here one evening on the strength of the positive reviews on TripAdvisor. I was not disappointed. The waiting staff were attentive and helpful. Being unfamiliar with Georgian cuisine, I was a little overwhelmed by the choices on the menu so the young waiter kindly (and patiently) guided me through it and recommended some dishes I could try. He spoke good English and I was very happy with his suggestions. It's a modern, comfortable and clean restaurant with a good atmosphere. Prices were pretty reasonable and they accept credit cards (note that you get separate bills for the food and alcoholic drinks).

We enjoyed a fantastic three-course meal here at Mama Manana for exceptionally good value, with amazing table service and, most importantly, terrifically tasty food. Our mains were truly aromatic and flavoursome, freshly prepared and nothing was left unfinished. We can not recommend this restaurant enough!
