Lovely staff very helpful. Bus station 2min walk away which was ideal as you are a little far out from things. I booked through www hotels.nl and changed the language to English. On the English Hotel sites same hotel was more or less double the price.

Our hotel is located in a beautiful old train station. Our rooms are uniquely decorated to preserve the traditional style of the building. We are 30 minutes away from Amsterdam and 15 mins from Schiphol Airport.
This truly is a beautiful B & B in a gorgeous part of The Netherlands. The rooms are exquisite and the friendliness of staff is great. We were a little surprised at the breakfast as pictures seemed to indicate that it was a buffet style (my husband likes to eat) but it was served to us in the restaurant area of the B & B (it is a local restaurant in the day/evenings). Saying that, the breakfast, too, was exquisite and so well-presented. It was very 'Dutch' and delicious: different types of bread, meat, cheese and a boiled egg with fruit and freshly-squeezed orange juice, too along with a pastry - all served on individual bread boards. One of the loveliest things we received was our early breakfast in a bag! They had kindly prepared a bag of goodies for our early start. We were really touched by the care that had gone into this. We also received a welcome drink, too! They really do know how to treat their guests. The only reason why I am not giving this 5 stars is mostly down to my desire to not be on Amsterdam's doorstep but I was surprised at how far away we actually were. I am a reasonably well-travelled person and I am quite good at researching travel from place to place of new places and my timings were completely wrong but I had used the information provided. It took more than an hour to get to Amsterdam when sources had said 40mins. We were also further away from the Ziggodome, too and this resulted in use of expensive taxis...it was worth it and we would return in a heartbeat but more information is needed about location and distances, I think. Thank you for making my first trip to Amsterdam very special though and I do highly recommend this place for both, couples and family.

I stayed in this hotel with my elderly mother. The location is amazing. Just as pretty as the pictures. Quiet and calm. After flying and in transit for 26 hours we picked up a hire car and drove straight to the hotel. The beds are comfortable but the pillows not so much, but ok. The rooms are on the second floor and the staircase is steep and narrow. If I had realised I would have left big bags in the car and just took I what I needed. The continental breakfast was lovely and fresh.

Due to the Corona crisis, we had to cancel our trip to this location. Unlike other accommodation owners who were accommodating with this difficult unforeseen crisis (also non-refundable stays!), Tonny offered a restrictive 50 % discount on our next stay before January 1st 2021. We cannot comment on the facilities or location, but be prepared that the customer service may not live up to your expectations.
