The Klary family want to welcome you to a place where you will experience culture, tradition, love of life and regional cuisine combined with our generous hospitality. During the winter season perpetual winter fun is guaranteed in the snow-proofed ski resort of Obertauern. You can choose between cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snow kiting, tobogganing and a lot more winter activities. After a sporty day in the snow, you can enjoy the fun of apres-ski or you could relax in the spacious spa area of the hotel Landhotel Postgut. It is up to you. Our spa area offers a sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin, solarium and massages.
Excellent experience in Obertauern
Reviewed By 54michaelavOur first stay in Obertauern, although many times in the Alps. Good location close to the ski centre, ski bus stop in front of the hotel. Very friendly staff both at the reception and in the restaurant. Superb food - breakfasts and 5-course dinners. Spacy, quiet and clean rooms. Great wellness center. We spent wonderful few days with the family & friends there.

Our Hotel is situated in the middle of a fantastic mountain landscape at the foot of the famous Radstädter Tauern (Obertauern). Every day new ski slopes. From our hotel you easily reach the LUNGO- Skiresorts Obertauern (6km),Grosseck-Speiereck (7km),Fanningberg (14km) or Katschberg-Aineck (18km) either by your own car or with the cost-free Skibus. The well known and snow guaranteed ski area of Obertauern offers our guests skiing pleasure on perfectly maintained hundred kilometers of pists from the end of November until the beginning of May. One ski pass, two skiing areas-the ski pass of Obertauern is also valid for the skiing area of Großeck-Speiereck. Situated between these two skiing areas our hotel is the ideal starting point for your eventful ski holidays. In 2007 we have renovated and expanded our hotel. The rooms in our main house were renovated in 2011 and so upgraded to the latest standard. Our family runs the wellness hotel with a long history already in fourth generation. Countless frequenters treasure our hotel for its cosy family atmosphere.
Nice hotel
Reviewed By czokiesThe hotel is very nice and clean, surrounded by mountains. The dinner was yummy and rich, the breakfast was general hotel breakfast (good and tasty). The staff was ok. Unfortunately, in our room the heater was almost not working, so the room was a bit cold, we stayed only for 1 night, so we did not make a big deal out of it. Also the hair dryer was not warking at all. The mattress was very soft, so if you have a back pain issues, these mattresses wouldn't be the best for you.

Nice affordable hotel close to the Obertauern ski area
Reviewed By Ayman BThe Twengerhof is a nice hotel for people who are looking for a fair priced place to stay and enjoy skiing. The bus stop taking you to the Obertauern ski area is across the hotel only 1 minute walk and within 10 minutes you can start skiing. The hotel is well accomodated with a swimming pool, sauna, solarium and the staff is very friendly. Food was fine with a breakfast buffet with a large variety of choice in the morning and a salad buffet with several dishes to choose from at night. If you'd like to try another skiing area take the bus or car to grosseck / speiereck direction of Mauterndorf, it's also nice.
