They do serve fresh fish with right cooking technics. You can try fried squid and shrimp casserole as hot starters; seabass and rock grouper (lahos)as main dish. Salad made with rucola and tomatoe is tasty. Stay away from crab because it's nit fresh but convinience food...

We went to this place in a middle day, so there was plenty tables to choose. View and atmosphere is amazing, service is very good. Salad were amazing (not another tomato plus onion), shrimps with garlic delicious so was local fish. We had also calamares. It's not the cheapest one but worth it! Highly recommended even you are passing this town and searching for some spot to eat.

This restaurant is famous for its grills and fish.It is quite good restaurant but I would offer you to choose their branch in Marina which is near this restaurant and near the seaside with the same price level and better service.

It is an excellent restaurant to eat daily fresh fish and it's derivations. The fish soup is a must drink food. You choose your own fish. The shrimp casserole is more than excellent. The main menu grilled fish is amazingly delicious. When requested they serve toasted bread. Waiters are very fast and respectful. To make long story short you should go to Balikci Tanju and eat any kind of sea food. No alcohol is served.

Great choice! the appetizers, in turkish 'meze' are very good and there Is an extraordinary variety and quantity. After that we had an excellent fish 'levrek'. Good wine. It is not cheap but is well worth the money. The.wide hall is a little too noosy. Personnel is professional and attentive. Do not miss !

As a long term customer of Asina (6 years), I can confidently say that you will get the best appetizers, mezes and the freshest fish of the Mediterranean (Fish cooked in brine/sea salt is the most famous and highly recommended entrée). Although I live overseas now, I always go to Asina whenever I am in Mersin to visit my family. Asina is also my favorite place to take my international guests for business dinners. The staff, especially Mehmet Bey, is incredible and It's guaranteed that you will have a very satisfying experience.

Really good starters ( esp. the shrimps in butter) and a great place with sea view, grass under your feet and playground for the children). Definitely worth the money and the waiting time (which was a bit too long).
