Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Carthage. With a history stretching back nearly three millennia, Carthage was once the heart of a powerful Mediterranean empire before being leveled by the Romans in the Third Punic War in 146 BC. It sprang from the ashes to become an important early Christian center before again being destroyed by Islamic invaders in the late 7th century. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Carthage is a short train ride from Tunis and has several interesting attractions, like the Punic port and the Carthage Museum.

Ivy, est un coffee shop, juicerie, néo bistrot, proposant une carte variée de produits frais tout au long de la journée!
We came around 11am and there was a short queue because this place is quite small but many visitors. No doubt, nice atmosphere, good and (most) healthy foods and drinks. Definitely we will come back again :) good for breakfast and brunch !!!

This tiny restaurant right next to the parking lot is typically packed with young people and families, taking their time over pizza of all kinds, featuring in particular fish intermixed with meats and olives and what nots. You wouldn't find these combinations anywhere but in Tunisia. The staff has a great time chatting it up with the patrons, and the entire place has a happy vibe to it.

We went there for dinner with some friends and enjoyed the time we had in this restaurant. Food in international and of good quality and taste. The place is very friendly.

I had dinner here with my family in May 2014, because I remembered the cosy and welcoming garden that I had seen a few times. Well, the food was really bad unfortunately. The sauce on the paste was probably ketchup. The bruschetta they served was really disappointing, too. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Good value for money not far from the Punic cemetary and seafront (no view). Quality cuisine at a reasonable price. Best to book in advance to lower waiting time. International menu (Italian, French, a bit of Tunisian).

Restaurant qui propose dans sa carte des pâtes et des salades Méditerranéennes avec des spécialités propres, ainsi que des sushis classiques dans un endroit convivial.
-Space too small for japenese and italian concept resto.-Sushi/rolls/maki are delicious but too small and very expensive comparing to other Japanese restaurant in Tunis-No free soja sauce on table-seeing the number of stars he have , it doesn't seem a restaurant that everyone like -Must revisit the price and quatity and being more generous -Come back again will be the last choice I do for this restaurant

Welcoming staff, great views and a citron sorbet that is simply refreshing. Ignore the ground level restaurants and climb the stairway, past images of past eminent diners, to simply relax. A menu that combines French and Tunisian cuisine for the enjoyment of food. Do take time to look at the photos of previous diners on the wall e.g. Sen. John McCain and Claudia Cardinale.

Great fresh Italian food: Fresh pasta, vongole (small clams), saltimbocca. vitello tonato, burrata, fabulous homemade desserts (tiramisu, capri chocolate cake). Husband/wife team. Owner/chef/ manager husband very nice, personable man. Very reasonable prices. No alcohol, but worth it regardless.
