Normally, one wouldn’t equate "relaxing spa vacation" with "hanging out near an active volcano," but if you’re up for something more exotic than facials and massages, Banos might be the perfect place for you. The thermal mineral pools here are heated by the volcano, and while there are several, offering different amenities, the easiest one to visit is Las Piscinas de la Virgen. Banos also has plenty of outdoor activities, like rafting and biking on scenic paths.

We were very intrigued by the reviews of this place, as you can see for yourself they go from 5 marks where the place is reviewed for itâs great food and 1 mark where the place is reviewed for being racist or anti-Semitic. We decided to go and see ourselves. I have taken a photo of the sign and I am attaching it to this review, hoping that will be posted. It is in Spanish and it basically translate to: âIsraelis that donât accept to live in peace with Palestinians are not allowed hereâ. Maybe I am a little slow, but I donât think this statement is racist nor anti-Semitic, to me it seems to promote peace, I guess the people upset about it are in favor of war and decided to call the guy racist to get back at him. Anyway⦠letâs now talk about the real reason we should talk about this place ⦠food! We ordered the popular $25 mixed grill for 2 people. We were served 4 courses. 1) 4 different kind of sausages2) 2 different cuts of pork chops3) 2 chicken breast4) 2 fillet mignonEvery single dish was mouth watering and cooked to perfection. We ordered 2 glasses of house wine (very decent) and 2 bottles of water. The final bill was $ 36. Both my friend and I felt it was the best mix grilled we ever had for this kind of money. The restaurant has a very warm and colorful decor. The service was ok. If you wanna have a great grill, this is the place for you! if you are touchy about your political views than maybe you donât deserve to have a nice meal. Beside to highly recommend the food I always have great respect for people that promote peace and stick to their principles!Me da gracias que me digan racista aquellos que por su práctica Sà lo son. gracias por su opinión y recomendación.

Fantastic place: nice ambiance, attentive & friendly staff, DELICIOUS food with various options (including vegetarian!), all at really good prices. I was not familiar with Argentinian food & so tried a recommended entree and I think I will have to try more! Wholly recommended.

Quiet place with no one there but 3 of us.language barrier overcome with smiles and laughter.spotless.happy to substitute cooked al dente vegetables for the salad.roasted potatoes came in a cute little pot..we had the beef tenderloin grilled on a stone for 10.99.the meat was hot and melt in your mouth;,the marinade delicious.it was such a perfect meal that we way overtipped..and went out in the street and convinced 4 more couples to eat there too!
