Mediterranean, European and contemporary cuisine. Vegetarian friendly and gluten free.
We went here to celebrate a special birthday. By Croatian prices it is very expensive but worth it for a special night. We had a 5 course taster menu and which each course there is a different wine. The food is beautifully presented and delicious. Service is outstanding I loved the whole night. However, I would say that you should be wary of certain extras they offer, ie a glass of sparkling wine and surprise birthday cake as these were on the bill at the end of the night. In all it cost around £100.00 a head.

We had dinner at Kastelet on two occasions in June .
We enjoyed a good athmosphere during warm and intimate summer evenings . A band was playing soft and jazzy background music every night , highly appreciated .
Food was well prepared andtasty , serving was dine without delay , but waiters could at times had more attention to guests additional requirements during meals . Service quality training should be stepped up , management should take action to ensure even more satisfied guests .
In ant case , recommended , a bit sophisticated and a very nice place to dine .

This gorgeous restaurant is set in the hinterland in the trees, with treetrunk chairs, big open log fires to cook on and quant little fairly lights this is a great place for family's, friends, groups but also romantic nights, you have so much privacy, the service is great and the food is beautiful I would recommend the grilled calamari and the scampi. A great hideaway and beautifully thought out restaurant.

Dear Don Antonio Restaurant is listed in the wrong category Coffee & Tea in Makarska it damages my business I ask you to urgently correct thank you
My wife and I visited this slightly off the beaten track restaurant twice. Antonio, the owner, works his magic at front of house, while his dearly beloved cooks the most delicious meals for your enjoyment! Antonio's hobby is olive oil and wine making -18 varieties - including the lovely house wines and a dessert wine, the latter complimentary. The dessert wine takes 3 years to make and uses double the quantity of grapes. "You won't make any money on this one" he says! It is very agreeable! Both evenings the restaurant was packed with happy diners. Antonio was kept very busy, I can say, but this seemed to agree with him! The evening was topped of by complimentary grappa. Lovely place, delicious food, and great host.

Brilliantly simple Dalmatian tavern as it should be! Many locals eat here throughout the year so it’s a perfect place to hear about local politics and gossips. Daily menu changes according to the season and local offer. Fresh, tasty and uncomplicated food. For lunch (or brunch –
We have now visited Konoba Kalalarga about 5 times during the 3 times we've been in Makarska.
We're always served good, fresh food with interesting flavour combinations. The staff is great and sometimes you can get an extra treat after he meal.
We've had donkey (yes, donkey) served with gnocci and sea bass, which were both great. For starters we've had smoked fish and squid salad - both delicious!
We recommend to book in advance.

Where to start..
We were there to find new experience and we found it. Our waiter was extraordinary. He recommend us wine, and we definitely enjoyed it. Food was colorfull and taste was something special. I really liked how they combinated many flavors of Dalmatia in one dish. High recommendation to go there, and one tip..just ask waiter to guide you, no regrets.. belive me !

Me and my frienda ate here at lunch, and I can say that it is quite a good choice, especially if you take into consideration the quality / price ratio. I would recommend the fish platter , for 1 person (140 Kuna) or 2 persons (260 Kuna). The portions are quite generous, and the view is nice.
The weak point is that the food is not impressive at all, not even very tasteful. It's just decent.
