Etablissement situe a 04km du village (Nord). Une petite restauration situe au bord du lagon, dejeuner sur la terrasse. Approximite de quelques pas: Pension KoriKori Pension VekeVeke Village Centre de Plongee Dive Spirit
We rode bicycles to Snack "Kori Kori" on two different days for lunch. The cooks/staff at this restaurant are very friendly and welcoming. What made us return the second day was the SALAD. (They actually had lettuce! What a treat!) Also, one person in our group is a vegetarian and he was able to order an omelet mid-day. We cannot say enough positive things about this delightful place to have lunch.

French recipes with local products
The kitchen staff at Havaiki Restaurant work hard to assemble a unique and delicious dinner each night. They creatively combine local fish with various presentations, spices and French sauces. The highlight every night was their DESSERT! They were all fabulous; the Tiramisu made with coconut milk and served in a coconut shell was incredible!

Had lunch twice, once takeout the other dine-in. The first time they were already closed for lunch but the local dive instructor who drove me there asked her to fix something for me because the other snack was also closed and there was no other place to eat. I had fish with rice for takeout and grilled fish/fries/vegetables in their dining area. Food/service/price - kind of all average.

Un poisson cru les pieds dans l'eau
We were told about this hidden gem at the Pearl Havaiki Lodge by a crew member on the Oceania Sirena and were thrilled! There are no taxis on Fakavrava, but it is a very pleasant, flat walk of perhaps 20 minutes from the tender dock. There are also bicycles available for rent and the locals are so friendly that many will stop to offer you a lift. It is basically a Tiki hut on a stunning white-sand beach with crystalline water, certainly not fancy but the staff are delightful and the made-to-order food is very fresh and prices are quite reasonable. The selection is limited but everything we tried was excellent. The fish & beef carpaccios and frites are all excellent but do NOT miss the poisson cru à la tahitienne. I am not a fan of raw fish but this was exceptional. The tables set right in the water are a lovely bonusThere is a large sign stating that entry is restricted to guests of the Lodge, but nobody ever objected - and it was packed with crew members. There is also a pearl farm located on the property.Hi Jennifer thanks a lot for your beautifull message Joachim

We've had several delightful dining experiences at the Rotoava Grill. We heard their cheeseburgers were to die for and couldn't wait to try them out. The reports were correct, their burgers are outstanding! When we raved about them to the owner she told us her husband is a cheeseburger fanatic. We were given a choice of ketchup or blue cheese sauce. I tried the blue cheese sauce and it was pretty anemic in flavor so I can't really recommend the choice. Plus it adds $3 to the tab which wasn't worth it. We've also tried the steak frites, grilled mahi-mahi, chow-mein and poisson cru. Two thumbs up on these items as well. The location and decor are wonderful - open-air right next to the water. Take a romantic table water-side or a family table under the awning. Service was friendly and accommodating.
