Peperone, a place for socializing and enjoying food with your loved ones. Casual and cosy atmosphere that will put a smile on your face :). Fresh, simple, tasty food.
The place is cozy, clean and has a lovely atmosphere. The staff is friendly and serves delicious food, we recommend the Peperone gourmet burger and tuna tortilla - fabulous experience!Thank You for your review. The Peperone burger is in deed the best burger we make, great choice. hope to see you again.

Situated just outside Pazin in the village of Lindar, this pizzeria was superb! It was full of locals and had a great atmosphere, with the smell of wood fired pizzas tantalizing the senses. We could also smell truffles .... We ordered truffle pizza, pasta with truffles and a salad. The servings were huge and we struggled to finish our dishes. The food was absolutely divine and very affordable. The service was friendly and attentive and we would definitely recommend a visit, not your ordinary pizzeria..

Stumbled upon this place having just visited the Pazin zip line and the Castle. Located 6km out of Pazin and visited by tourists viewing the nearby chapel of St Marije na Škriljinah, Vela Vrata is beautifully located overlooking rolling hills.
We stopped off for lunch but noted that most tables were reserved for dinner, we visited mid week. Our waitress was helpful and polite, it felt very much a family-run business. The kitchen is small though looked very clean and organised. There are also two wood ovens which we were informed that these were only used for dinner in the summer months and all day during the winter. As such our steaks were cooked on a griddle. This did not detract from the melt-in-mouth fillet steak with intense black truffles accompanied with perfectly cooked and seasoned, homemade Istrian pasta.
We began with Istrian soup and a carpaccio of beef doused with an unearthly amount of black truffles. As well as the fillet steak with black truffles we had homemade pasta, one with goulash and one with porcini mushrooms, both delicious. The house wine was also very palatable. We finished with a dark chocolate tart with honey and truffles, a heady combination.
Vela Vrata really is an off the beaten track gem. Worth a visit but be sure to book ahead.

It is cosy little creperia, warm interior. Not too loud or overcrowded. Pancake with maple syroup and walnuts was good, not too big, just enough to make it to lunch.

Driving back from Pazin to Porech on a very wet day we came across this restaurant run by a young couple.
Their attitude was quite faultless. The young lady spoke prefect english and was able to translate freely to her partner.
We had a simple snack lunch of sandwiches and coffee both of which were freshly prepared and really tasty - just what was needed. As we were there an American lady entered asking for directions. Again, the response was wonderful and clear directions given. This restaurant, as is the norm in Croatia, is spotless. It is a little out of the way but a wonderful stop off on your journey .
This young couple deserve a return for the friendship and courtesy they who.

This is a great find , it's rustic and has a local client base. We had a fantastic meal , the portions are substantial I brought mine home as I only managed to eat half of the delicious truffle and cream pasta .
The bill was more than reasonable and we will be visiting again , before our holiday ends

Used this lovely place regularly for drinks and ate there during our 2 week holiday nearby. Food was fantastic, plenty of it, well prepared. Salad fresh from the garden, beautiful rolls for the burgers and some of the best home made fries I have ever had. Hosts Elsef and Alenka are lovely, friendly and generous. Well worth a visit and excellent value for money.

We went at night and were thus not swayed by the views. In terms of the food, it was good - typical Istrian cuisine. I particularly liked the asparagus/truffle soup. However haven't eaten at a number of other local spots as this, I would have to say that this was good, reasonably priced but did not stand out above others.

Agroturizam Stefanic Lazi 85, Motovun 52424, Croatia is one of the best of agrotourism restaurants which we have visited in Italy and in Croatia.
The concept of an agrotourism restaurant is really vital to the tourist of the 2017s.
Great agrotourism restaurant dining at a fraction of city restaurant prices.
