They say when you travel you leave a piece of your heart behind and pick up a new one - my little piece was left at Valemare and I brought back with me the indelible memories of some of the most talented and hard working human beings I've ever come across. Thank you Michelle, for always remembering how to cater to my "Vizio" Thank you Ilam for being such a cordial host. Thank you Mike for making every day feel like we were visiting family and thank you Walter for your kindness, hard work and unparalleled hospitality. You are the heart and soul of Tropea ? As per Valemare; The views are absolutely breathtaking - possibly the best view in Tropea. The food is INSANELY good and the menu well curated. The rooms are modern, clean and well kept by the Diligent housekeepers. Location is perfect - just outside of the towns hustle and close enough to walk to it. The structure itself could use some love from the owners to really capitalize on its immense value. Not only I recommend this place, I am already looking forward to next summer!

Our Structure is Made of Very Very Typical Buildings, Designed With Exciting Exotic and Typical Hot Colors ... !!! Equipped with "ANGOLO COTTURA" and different comforts, they are like real Mini / Apartments (studios). In addition, every morning we offer a small "Italian Breakfast" absolutely free. The property is located in a quiet and green area of Tropea with sea view, 900 meters from the sea, 800 meters from the center (supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy, bar, bank and shops ...) and 1.7 Km From the Old Town.

Reviewed By AroundTheWorld738310We have had a very nice experience in Residenza Arena. Great staff, everything was sparkling clean (literally) and Antonio (the owner) gave us a warm welcome. He is simply great, always accessible/reachable via phone/what's app and gave us many suggestions on where to go/what to do. The room was new, comfortable, super clean. I know this is a "casa vacanza/holiday house", but a breakfast service would give a rate of 6/5!! Walking distance from city center (~800mt/10min) and 10/15min driving to reach beautiful beaches.

In the residence there are 8 apartments simply but fully furnished and self catered. most of them have a Terrace or a veranda All the guests have a free parking place, laundry room and above all a beautiful solarium, roof terrace with sunbeds, sunchairs, tables,umbrellas and free barbecue. A perfect place for parties and relaxing timeWe are in the middle of a hill just one km far from the town of Tropea.

Reviewed By andreaozannaAs a german family and friends we had 3 wonderful weeks in the Tropea appartements. The view you have from the terrasse is incredible. Everything you need is there. Very nice rooms, comfortable beds and clean bathrooms and also a good organized kitchen. We had the appartements LIPARI and ALICUDI. For sure it is one of our favourite places on earth. The owner is absolutely friendly and he has the best recommondations for trips in and around the awesome city Tropea. He is reliable and outstanding customer orientaded. Reviewed By Q8450JAnicolasbUnfortunately, the stay in this structure was not pleasant. -THERE WAS NOT TAP WATER! IN THIS PERIOD OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC, IT IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! When the problem "was partially solved" the water that was out of the taps was brown! -THE OWNER WAS VERY RUDE! Instead of try to solve the tap water problem he has washed his hands. -The apartments are not in Tropea but they are in Santa Domenica which is 3km away. -There is no parking area in the structure. There are public parking in the way near the apartments. -Only 4 bed were prepared (we were five people), so we had to ask to prepare another one. We are extremely dissatisfied with the service.

Couples particularly like the location . This property is also rated for the best value in Tropea! Guests are getting more for their money when compared to other properties in this city. A very nice, clean apartment with amazing views
Reviewed By inksuiThe apartment was very nice and clean, and housed the five of us perfectly. We had one of the bigger rooms with the sea view which was incredible. The location was good, about 10 minute stroll from old town so it was very quiet. The aircon worked well and was well needed in the southern Italian heat! However, there were some negatives about the residence; the walls were paper thin and we could hear everything from our neighbours apartment. The way to the apartment next door went through our balcony so there was no privacy when there were people staying in there. In the apartment there was plenty of dishes to use but no dish soap, so we had to buy it ourselves. We were also instructed to separate our waste in various different coloured bags but were not provided those bags. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and would recommend!

A place with potential
Reviewed By ChrisBrosIm not sure what to write about this place. We stayed there for two weeks in beginning of July. The place wasn't really ready for guests at that time - no wifi in rooms, the hot water was on and off, no working TV, electricity was weak and the breakfast was really a joke. They should scarp breakfast all together. But the apartments are nice, clean and well equipped, but I would have liked a small sofa to relax on in the evenings. Also on the positiv side: the staff was charming and really helpful. For instance, I needed wifi for work and was trusted with the key to the reception - the only place with wifi - so I could work in the evenings. Everything is new and fresh. So with time, this could be really good. The location is great - half way between town and the beautiful beach.
