Whilst touring around Sardinia - we fell upon this Italian seaside âresortâ and then did our usual look on trip advisor for a recommendation.... look no further than La Torre because having parked the car we could see its position- elevated overlooking the Small marina ... Whilst it was quiet - there was something quite charming about the place - it must have been updated recently because all the cutlery, table ware were in beautiful condition. The staff were attentive without being intrusive - which is always the best in my eyes Both hubby and I had variations on a theme - seafood pasta - which were delicious The Vino blanco hit the spot So if you fall upon isola rossa during your travels around the beautiful island of Sardinia ... please give this place a try - I donât think you will be disappointed

MORE THAN JUST A TAKE AWAY Passion, enthusiasm, initiative: three simple ingredients that have made up the recipe of our family run business for thirty years. Every summer we try to offer to our loyal customers the best of Gallurese cuisine (and much more
Great reviews took us here - waited over an hour for our meal - seemed hectic & disorganised- food was good.Came back next night & after 1hr told them we were going home! After a further 15 mins our food arrived (pasta dishes) - cold! What a disorderly disorganised place! Waitresses work their butts off - but to no avail!Sorry wonât be going back You ate 2 times with us, and you ate well, I don't find it right that you have a star just because one day the restaurant was full, and you waited a little longer to eat, in there we all work non-stop and the results are there otherwise you would not have eaten anything. The pasta could not be cold because it had just been cooked. Dear sir in Italy we do not serve pasta already packaged as you might be used to eating in Australia, here everything is cooked at the moment and if you want to eat a good product you have to wait. We tried to satisfy you in every way, even changing your table, because you were cold on August 13th .....

We tried Coccodrillus because of the TripAdvisor ratings and as a change from the truly excellent Rooco Ja in Castelsardo and our local haunts.Overall: Quirky decor cannot make up for industrialised service and mediocre food that lacks charm and precision.Pluses:- Fair prices- Huge restaurant so easy to get a table- Next to the sea / nice if limited viewNegatives:- Robotic service - one plate was whisked away as my wife tried to put it down on the table! We felt rushed.- The food is edible, but the quality elsewhere is soo amazing this felt like a let-down- Large TV's playing strange circus movies - why?ââï¸ WAITERS OR ROBOTS ???We regret that overall you did not appreciate the evening spent in our restaurant. It is your right to express your opinions, even if despite the length you have not explained any dish that you have tried. You can not:1- enter the name of other restaurants in the space where you review our ... it is at least a lack of style.2- write nonsense such as ... industrialized restaurant ...3- define robotic serviceâ¦. lack of respect towards young people of medium-high culture and polyglots who have served you4: if one of them has taken away the dish this does not mean that we are in a hurry ... the customer can spend the whole evening: you simply had a wrong impression.4-the strange circus film you saw are images of the cirque du soleil. Among our eccentricities there is that we are a place of art, culture, music, painting, beauty and children are at the center of our attention. We regret that all this does not interest you.5- We totally disagree with you that our food is mediocre ... but you are free to think so.

We are probably "regulars" here as we usually eat here 2/3 times a week when we visit Calarossa on the coast where we have an apartment (Villa Marisa) and a studio (Studio Erika)Owner Paolo speaks a bit of English and will fondly tell you about London "Bobbies" which can be amusing. The place has quite a wide menu and if you fancy something off menu just ask. My favorite is Gorgonzola and Onion pizza but this is best shared with your partner! When you enter it does have a bit of a "local cafe" atmosphere. All the locals will stop and look at you and with the TV on in the corner it can feel a bit downmarket. But get past that and this is a nice friendly unassuming place that you will probably re- visit as we now have many times.

Have you ever had that nightmare restaurant experience?...food poisoning, angry service, bathrooms that look like testing grounds for fecal explosives. .....In this restaurant you can try ....I was totally dissapointed with this restaurant .I don ' t understand how this horrible restaurant could achieve such a big success ....Food was disgusting and service probably descended from the universe....hope that it will get the worst ranking....IL PEGGIOR INCUBO DI UN RISTORATORE!12 Clienti entrano, si accomodano, ordinano e mangiano. Recensione inaccettabile.

6 of us ate here, we were the first to arrive but by 8:15 the restaurant was full. A reservation is a must. There is no menu so just enjoy what arrives. There was so much food so don't overeat with the appetisers. The highlight was the pasta course. The ravioli and the gnocchi were delicious. The whole meal was a great experience and one that we'll remember for a long time.

Placed in Cala Sarraina, with a beautiful view to the beach, this restaurant amazes with a service of incomparable quality. Food is delicious, personnel is kind and the view is just perfect. Its not a place to find a menu with 100 dishes, people: this is not a Chinese restaurant!! food is based in what local fishermen brought in the morning. One of my top picks around, I suggest taking reservations.

Talk about back to basics, this place is set in an old well kept space, simple and as practical as they come.No menu and no ordering, you have a fixed 7 course meal, every dish is local, fresh and made to perfection. Not all were my cup of tea, but they were all so good I enjoyed it.The service is friendly and not over the top.We got wine, water and coffee, and the entire thing was ONLY 28 euro per person, all in!!We're going back again tonight, and would say its a must if you're inthe region!

Situated next door to the Nuraghe Majori we stopped here on impulse for lunch. Very beautiful setting with lots of ceiling fans and also a small play area for the kids made it a very enjoyable lunchtime. A few local cats were around too which amused the kids.We had the meat and cheese platters (around â¬11 to â¬15 depending on what you had). My husband also had a plate of home-cooked meats which he couldn't finish as there was simply so much of it. We also had a jug of the local white wine. The children had the local pasta which they quickly polished off.Very good indeed.
