I really enjoyed the food here. The smoked chicken was delicious and the potatoes were so flavourful! However, I felt that the portions were a bit small when compared to similar restaurants in Trinidad.

The place is like a 'soul food kitchen' you'd see in the American South, only serving mainly Trini-fare, mainly for lunch. It's all legit 'down home' cooking but the menu tends to be heavier 'casserole/stews' which are all very good, but best suited for lunch or take-outs. Very reasonably priced and Trini's consider this one of the best 'local' places on the island.

First timer here. Visited for dinner with family. Pretty cozy place. Friendly staff. I had Atlantic Salmon which was to my liking. The Pork Loin I thought it would be good. Family member says it was. It would have been my alternative choice, but that is for a next time. The Sirloin was not up to standard according to another family member. The children's meals were consumed, so that might have been very tasty for them. Having revealed all of that I am satisfied that some one knows how to prepare Salmon.
