Reviews on British food in Ko Chang, Trat Province, Thailand. Ko Chang means “Elephant Island,” and indeed, if you’d like an up-close-and-personal encounter with the world’s largest land mammal, you can do that here—you can even swim with them at Ban Kwan Chang, an elephant preserve recommended by TripAdvisor travelers. In the past few years, the island has experienced a huge boom in tourism, so new hotels and restaurants abound.

We had been eating Thai stir fryâs and rice dishes and we were in need off some other choices. Extensive menu choices - should I have Shepardâs pie or stew. Decided on the stew and have to say it was a full meal deal. Very, very filling. Great whiskey and scotch choices as well. Talked to the owners friend who was the manager that night who also opened a bar in town. He Had great information on places to go that are not on the regular tourist planner menu. paddyâs also has a pool table, fuzz ball table great single choices. The service was excellent. Well worth they extra cost..

I recently spent a couple of weeks on Koh Chang and was lucky to find myself in Morgan's after just a couple of nights. I was originally drawn in by the sport on the big screen (it being the end of the season and FA Cup and all). Richie, his wife and their staff were super friendly and inviting. Richie has lived their for 15 years and so has lots of knowledge of the Island, he even speaks some Thai with an Essex accent! The food is lovely and really well presented and thought out. The Thai chefs seemed to have nailed Shepherds Pie and if you want a breakfast then they have "proper" bacon and sausages as well as massive bangers for Bangers "n" Mash. And as everywhere, the Thai food is superb.10/10.Thanks very much for your review and custom of course. Glad we ticked the boxes for you and enhanced your stay on the island. We hope youâll be able to visit Koh Chang again soon. It would be a pleasure to have you around again. Thanks very much from all of the Morganâs team!

There never seemed to be any one in this place every time I passed but I decided to give it a go for brunch. I had choice of tables. I ordered the 95 baht breakfast special & was not disappointed. The only weird thing that the advertised homemade lorne sausage looked & tasted like a beefburger. No worries it tasted just fine. Service A1, staff polite & attentive. Place & toilets spotless. Tables at the front are perfect for watching the world go by. Value for money.
