Monday thru Friday we serve business lunch from 12 noon to 4 PM
I had seafood pasta, it was tasty and fresh. My husband had some traditional pork recipe, it was ok, not awesome and the price is not really justified for what it contains. At dessert we had chocolate soufle, which is a bit overrated because it's not actually a soufle, it a cake you find in retail and reheat at microwave.Waiter was attendive.

A traditional romanian food; good prices; we wait for you!The restaurant is situated not far away from the center of Sibiu, in the old city, very interesting area for the tourists.
We had two wonderful evenings here. This is the best place in Sibiu to visit for any tourists interested in sampling traditional local food and drink. The pork knuckle with haricot beans and the cabbage rolls stuffed with minced pork are both classics well worth trying. Much greater authenticity, quality and value than the restaurants around the central squares and shopping streets.Dear Guest, Thank you very much for taking the time to add your detailed review on our family restaurant - Grand Plaza. We would like to thank you so much for expressing your kind comments. We are happy to know that you enjoyed our Romanian food.We are looking forward to welcoming you again.Kind regards, Adi Bacila

Raw-vegan bistro
We have visited this place around lunch time. The place is small, but very elegant and friendly. Almost all tables were full, families with children, couples and singles having their lunch here. The staff was friendly and tried to accomodate with our request. The service was a little slow, but understandable, because of the number of clients being served at the same time. They respected our request (with no salt, no garlic) and we tried two raw pasta dishes from their permanent menu. And a fresh juice made of pears, oranges and pomegranate, which was delicios. The food was tasty and very filling. We wanted to try some of their dessert, also, but it wasnt possible after the lunch, we felt too full. We will have to go back and try some more of their dishes - such as soups or other vegan specialities. The prices were average for a vegan boutique restaurant. We enjoyed our lunch here very much.

The place is outside the touristy part of Sibiu but getting there makes an interesting walk through the Lower Sibiu, past the local green market and across the river.I got in and hang around surrounded by about 10 people waiting for the table. Than decided to let the waiter know and I was soon given a place at the shared table with a Romanian family. This place is famous for its creamy tripe chorba (thick soup), but there was plenty of choice for a vegetarian like me. Thankfully they have a menu with translations in French, English and German and I chose a veggie chorba which was fabulous followed by the Mamaliguta (polenta) with cream and cheese) which was also great. Regrettably I got too full for a Papanasi, a traditional doughnut, stuffed with sweet cheese and jam, which waiters were serving to the other guests and which were hard to resist.

Itâs sometimes a gamble to try new places for tripe soup, but this is a very good one. Still, there is another place in Sibiu that totally kills this one. Anyhow, the service is OK at Prima and you get the food relatively fast. You can get it for take away as well.
