Just had dinner at âA Camponezaâ. Been lucky enough to be there on a relatively quiet night, just a few scattered tables occupied, but reservations would be recommended.Besides their particularly huge sea food skewers (which were delicious) I have tasted the best red tuna steak I have ever had. Cooked to perfection, juicy, tender, tasty. My advice is to taste it as is, before using any of the sauces that accompany the dish. You might not want to spoil it. The service was prompt and always with a smile, the complementary Porto Wine in the end was a nice touch.Speaking of wines, they have a wide selection of Portuguese wines, but you should try Vino Verde, which is specific exclusively to this country (it is a kind of proseco light wine, but it goes great with sea food and fish).

I want meat. I love meat. I ate fine steaks all over the world. Argentina, Brasil, USA, Australia, UK, France, Italy...name it! So I want nothing but the best from meat (I do accept to pay a small fortune if is necessary!).I don't want to discuss about the prices (for meat these are moderate if you compare with western restaurants but very high in Romanian large picture) but about the meat. I took beef tartar and filet mignon red angus (the most expensive piece). Rucola salad. Tartar was nicely cut but awfully seasoned: very spicy so you can't feel the rest of the flavors (including meat flavor was difficult to feel...). Their steak is offered quite nude: not seasoned at all. It could be OK but you have to receive a nice crust in order to feel the taste of caramelized fat. An dome garlic / herbs butter. Well.. I received no crust, no butter buuuut I received an extremely hot cayenne pepper! Enough to burn your mouth and make you wonder what kind of beef you eat. Last but not least I received a stale rucola (generously covered with parmesan). The toast was cheap and spongy but the wine was good and not that expensive. Bottom line: in my experience THIS IS NOT A TOP STEAKHOUSE. There are better options in Romania and in Cluj, too.

Those steakhouse in the centre of Cluj offers amazing food and good service. There is outside seating, but the inside, which is made up to look like a cellar, is nice and comfortable too. A nice selection of wines complements the great meat dishes.
