I really appreciate when people do things with passion. This was my feeling when I entered here. The kindness of the waiter and the flavor of my couscous was great. I really enjoy it!!

The owner/manager was sitting outside smoking and welcomed us warmly. We chose to sit outside and he suggested the special - a bit of everything on a plate. We were a bit reluctant but also tired and it turned out to be an excellent suggestion. What arrived was a huge plate with grilled lamb and chicken, salads,Breads, dips - washed down with some Lebanese beer. We just about finished all that food and left very satisfied. The imam biyaldi was especially good (aubergine and tahini) as was the garlic sauce - if you like your garlic. I actually want to eat it all again right now.

I had dinner there last night, on the terrace, facing the busy rue Colbert (rue pietonne). The restaurant is very well decorated, very clean, and the wait staff is delightful. (I have the impression this is a family business!) They couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. The food was DELICIOUS, and fresh. As I was alone (with my "pug"), I sampled a selection of cold/warm mezzes. Taboulé (fabulous), Foul (a bit of a different twist, and fantastic), as well as hummous with spiced ground beef. Everything was delightful, and I would highly recommend it! Only thing to note: according to TA map, this restaurant is near the train station. They have moved to the rue Colbert! Not very far away, but take note.

For our last night in Tours we were looking for a really special restaurant to have dinner. From the positive reviews on Trip Advisor Leonard de Vinci seemed like an ideal choice - very central location in the Old Town and amazing food. First off - the food WAS amazing. Large portions of really innovative choices from the menu. However the experience was totally let down by the customer experience. There seemed to be only 3 members of staff having to deal with a number of tables both inside the restaurant and outside in the twin square. They all seemed rushed off their feet, especially the owner (I assume) who time and again rushed past us despite us sitting with menus and empty plates for AGES. We finally managed to get 3 courses after what seemed a lifetime, but gave up any hope of being able to get coffee. The final insult was on paying I was just handed back my credit card without eye contact or even a thank you. Sorry but what could have been a great experience turned out to be something far less. Sir,First end formost, thank you for coming to our establishment, and the praise you have given to our food.at the same time I am sorry that you had the impression to be abondoned but ann incident before your arrival has somewhat disrupted the organization of the service which created a tension that you fell, despite our efforts.as you point outb there was one person less on the tezm, which you caén understand disturbs ans worries.I am very sorry for that and I apologize.Regards,
