This restaurant, boasting a Michelin star, is a part of the Hotel La Cour des Consuls. Its small main room houses only about six tables, and is dominated by a magnificent chimney-piece, with a copy of an impressive Caravaggio painting on the opposite wall. (There is additional accommodation when required.) The menu is quite properly limited, and changes each month. We enjoyed various canapés, an egg-based amuse-bouche, nut-stuffed mushrooms, and foie gras â followed by red mullet, and pigeon with foie gras. Quite a feast, and all very tasty â and delightfully served by Thibault with helpful sommelier Johanna. Thanks to them, and to the chef of course â to say nothing of the architectural surroundings â we had an altogether memorable evening.

Enter from the street expecting a small cosy indoor restaurant and be surprised as you are led through the restaurant to a 'back yard' outdoor dining experience. Excellent venue, service and food - making for a very enjoyable night at very reasonable cost.

There's a very good reason why after nearly 3 years in business this local eatery is pretty well full all the time - lunch and dinner - They have the formula right! I've been reviewing Les Complices on and off for 2 years now, both lunch and dinner. Consistency across all metrics is the key. Let's start with the welcome- staff are warm and engaging from the beginning and throughout the service. Friendly, helpful and thoughtful, makes for a charming ambience, they even speak a little English though it's not necessary for us it will be helpful for non French speakers. The main game - The food- A daily changing lunch menu is always interesting and different from the standard traditional French fare, dinner menus are innovative and creative. The wine list perfectly adequate and reasonable priced with good choices for wines by the glass which staff will thoughtfully let you taste before selecting - a nice touch. We keep coming back and it's cemented it's pace as one of our favourites in Toulouse. As I've said before be sure to reserve a table to avoid disappointment. Marci a toute l'equipe!Dear David, you are very welcome -, we're happy to make you happy !thank ou very much for your comment, we're glad to see taht our work is appreciated and very happy to be one of your favorite places in Toulouse. See you soon !

Friendly welcome, excellent service with a smile. Set lunch is excellent value and combines Italian food with French cuisine all cooked with care. The carte is extensive and Italian and look forward to trying on our next visit. Very good atmosphere as the restaurant was full of very happy diners.

This restaurant has only just opened, we decided to try it as it's very close, and the menu looked interesting. On one of the hottest days of the year, the soup ajo de blanco was the perfect starter for me, although my partner chose the carpaccio which he said was also wonderful, and beautifully presented. The lamb (him) and trout (me) were both also excellent. The food is modern, designed to please the eyes as well as the taste buds. The service is excellent and we thouroughly enjoyed out impromptu dinner. We shall be back.

Overall we had a very good meal, we were a group of 4. We came here for a Saturday lunch and chose the 31⬠menu (the cheapest menu offered on weekends), which was delicious. The starter was a soup with an oeuf mollet inside (soft boiled egg), however the egg was hard. 3 out of 4 of the dishes on our table ended having a hard boiled egg in their soup. It's a little surprising for a restaurant of this standard, certainly that a soft boiled egg isn't something too complicated to make. The rest of the meal was perfect; the duck was cooked to perfection and the desert was delicious.Regarding the toilets I was a bit surprised to find that the toilets were mixed and had only one cubicle.Dear âaudejacquesâ,We thank you for your comment which we read very carefully. As the chef of the restaurant, I do apologize for the cooking of the soft boiled eggs. I have also informed all my kitchen staff about it, so that such an incident wonât happen again. We are nevertheless, delighted that, as you said, âthe rest of the meal was perfectâ.As for the toilets, following new regulations, we wish to favor toilets with disabled access. The size of our restaurant only allows us to offer one toilet. This is the reason why we only offer mixed toilets and one cubicle. We continue to listen to our clients comments and we look forward to welcoming youagain in our restaurant. With our best regards.Claudie & Thierry MervilleLa Table des Merville at Castanet Tolosan

This was a small restaurant in a relatively busy area of Toulouse. There was only one waiter who was busy running around serving food and taking orders. He was super friendly and spoke a bit of English. We ordered the slow cooked lamb and beef, which were divine. I had a lemon meringue dessert which was to die for. Highly recommended restaurant for great french food.

We ate here with friends on one of our regular visits to Toulouse. We had reserved a month in advance which was wise as its only a small place and every table was taken. The menu had just changed and there are 5 or 6 choices for starters mains and desserts. We all four of us had something different and each of us were more than happy with our choices. For Toulouse portion sizes were of a decent size and wine prices not too pricey. We had no space for dessert but they looked delicious too.Overall an enjoyable meal in a pleasant ambience. Service was friendly and we weren't delayed even tho there was only one person waiting on. We would return after we've tried a few others. Thank you so much for your comment. Your right about the reservation because we're a little restaurant with 34 places and we're full all the saturday evening. We're happy you have enjoyed ours meals and hope you'll come back to try the desserts. Thank you again and see you soon at Perche Pinte restaurant.
