Sasa sushi is definitely the most delicious sushi in western Japan. We first visited Sasa sushi over 30 years ago and are still regular customers. It is famous in Tottori for its friendly service, attention to detail and most important- the great sushi.

I was there last year and I ate the best crab ever. So cool atmosphere and great pics from Sumo owner. One of the best meal of my life.

A family member took us here while we were visiting him in Tottori. So glad he did. Some of the freshest and best value sushi you can imagine. Very easy to handle for English speakers as well as the plates relate to yen amounts that are clearly labeled. Plus, you can always point to the menu and order whatever you fancy that isn't coming by on the conveyor. If you like authentic, fresh sushi, this place is a no-brainer. Be willing to wait up to an hour at dinner time for a place, though.

The Kaisendonya is close to the train station and not difficult to find. The menu is varied but includes a lot of fish as that is a local speciality. Everything is in Japanese and you order through an iPad but our waitress was wonderfully helpful. She showed us how to order, gave us a printed menu for help, and watched carefully for food allergies telling us what to avoid. The food was okay - not great and not bad - but the waitress made it all worthwhile.

A tourist restaurant with almost only Japanese clientele. The menu is in Japanese and the staff speak only Japanese. Fair enough, I suppose, though this is a place which attracts foreign tourists. The menu is short with a dozen or so items. They do specialize in fish including sushi and sashimi. The menu has photos, which help, but they did not bring what we ordered. The restaurant operates much like a factory - you sign on a list, they yell out regularly the names for the next table, you get your own towels and water, and so on. I would not recommend nor return here.

We ordered two seafood don and each of them had at least 10 types of seafood. They were all very fresh and seasonal! and they offered a seasonal oyster as well called "å¤è¼" (means shinning in summer), which was only available during June to August. The oyster was super yummy and rich!

A nicely decorated traditional Japanese style restaurant, fishes were fresh and tasty, price was reasonable. We sat in one of the rooms, of which spacious, clean, bright and very comfortable. A nice place for lunch after cruise at Pufu Coast, free parking is available at the entrance.

A must try in the area for sea food lovers! The food has good quality and is speciality of the town. Also the ride after lunch is amazing option for having fun! You can feed the seagulls and it's damn fun!
