Old Inn with home-cooked food and impeccable raw material in the area. Pasta made with recipes, meat, fish and stews of winter. Soup, field, is care of the House.Saturday and Sunday lunch, " carnes al asador "
From Buenos Aires we arrived in Villa Ventana. We arrived early in season and very early in the morning therefore the town was still asleep. We needed to wait for the Hosteria to be ready for us and we walked into town. At the town we met some people, real friendly argentine people who don´t see a lot of international travelers. We stayed over an hour. In the Hosteria we were welcomed bij the Host. He was so nice. We talked again for like an hour before officially checking in. He told us everything we needed to know about villa ventana en cerro de la ventana. The next day he drove us there. We had dinner in his restaurant twice because it was that good, esspecially the pasta´s. After lovely vino we went to bed. The room was nice, aswell as the garden and he is also restyling the place so it will be even better. We want to come back for sure!
We had a great time.

We invite you to learn a warm place in the heart of Villa Ventana , where you can enjoy classic delights of artisanal pastry and the most exclusive menu of teas ; imported and domestic . Our recipes are made with the best ingredients . We also have boards of regional products and variety of hot sandwiches and more ... We also offer breakfast at home in the whole region , ballroom and cakes to order.

I love the Dandeleon!
Villa Ventana is a cute little resort community of about 900 residents (and during peak season, about 2,000 tourists). There are a surprising number of restaurants, given the tiny population here to keep them afloat. My favorite is Dandeleon for the following reasons:
- The coffee is great, and they have a very nice iced coffee with shaved ice
- Tea is their specialty and they have a large selection of interesting and tasty teas, but this place is much more than just a tea shop
- They have amazing alfajores and other desserts
- They have fantastic, healthy salads. I love asado, but I just can't eat milanesa and steak every day. Dandeleon offers a few healthy alternatives.
- The ambiance is cozy, with solid music playing ranging from Johnny Cash to James Taylor to Dolly Parton to Guns and Roses
- They have a nice outdoor Seating area with pretty landscaping
I don't like to write reviews that gush so much, but I was really surprised to find a place like this - that would have fit right in to Tribeca, Portland or Austin - in little old Villa Ventana. I was only in Villa for about 4-5 days, so I definately didn't try all the other restaurants, but I think you can't go wrong at least dropping in for a coffee here.
