Our vineyard was planted in 1999 and since then we have progressively increased our production to meet demand. We are two ex school teachers who made a tree change to the Granite Belt to grow grapes, make wine and open a cellar door. It’s a hands-on operation as all processes are completed by the two of us on site. We skillfully create regional wines that exhibit strong varietal fruit characters.
This winery is celebrating 20 years in 2019 and it is always worth a visit. You might be welcomed by their winery dog Ralph or by the smiling faces of Sue and Warren - but you will always get a warm welcome. We recently returned with a 2006 bottle of their Bernie’s Blend (named after Warren’s dad) and man it had aged well!! So buy some to drink now and some to put away - you won’t regret it!! Beautiful location near the Girraween National Park - so lovely scenery on the way (but watch out for the local kangaroos).

I’ve only very recently started drinking wine and Sonya was more than accommodating, taking me and my partner through the whole process and explaining the wines, taste and the winemaking process. Very informative and friendly. Definitely worth visiting.

3 of us stopped here as part of a wine tour. Tony and Mary were very friendly and knowledgeable. Tony gave us a great overview of some educational info in the winemaking business which was a nice touch. Cellar door is beautifully presented, clean and with nice glasswear to taste from. Excellent vineyard to stop in at for a taste.

Came here late in teh day on a Saturday during the off season. The views are amazing and could of sat in the deck all evening, which we did. Enjoyed the conversation with Brent too. Tried 1 wine and 4 ports. Ended up buying 12 bottles and got a great deal from Brent. Definately a recommended visiting spot in the Region and a must do. Ample parking spots and interesting back story to the 3 ladies statue.

Ridgemill Estate is a small boutique vineyard just outside Stanthorpe on the Granite Belt. The chalets are spacious and well set out. Cellar Door is full of excellent wines to taste and take back to your room with a platter full of tasty cheeses and meats. The staff are so friendly they make for a Great Stay.

We come across this winery by chance but sometimes the places you don’t plan for, turn out great. It is a family run business and very friendly people. It is always nice to hear stories of the history of their winery. We did wine tasting and left with some lovely memories and delicious wines

We have a vineyard and winery with a cellar door for wine purchases and tastings and our Singing Lake Café for lunches, coffees and cakes. We have wonderful lake views and we are family and dog friendly. We have a concert series each year (mainly classical and jazz in our concert hall - the Swigmore Hall. We have a selection of wines that have won many awards and trophies including verdelho, chardonnay, pinot gris, pinot noir, shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. "They are by far the best Verdelhos I have ever tasted." James Halliday The Australian 2003 "Robert Channon Wines, arguably Australia's foremost producer of Verdelho" James Halliday The Australian 2009 "takes the verdelho to another level of length and intensity altogether" James Halliday Wine Companion 2013 Our Verdelho 2015 won the Trophy for Champion White Wine & Gold Medal at the Qld Wine Awards 2015 and 5 Stars from Winestate Magazine .
Ash took his time to explain each wine and it's characteristics. Arranged freight to our home at no extra cost, After the tasting he took us out the back to show the progress of some fermenting red grapes and explained the process. Absolutely fantastic visit.

On our last visit to Oz the only wine we took home was from Boireann. Peter has since retired and the vineyard is being run by Brad. We tasted some 2016 and, from the barrel, some 2017. The place is in good hands, Peter is still taking an interest and the wine seemed rounder. We will go home with a couple of bottles each of their Bordeaux blend, tannat, and a superb blend of nebbiolo and barbero they call simply rosso.

There's something for most people here but I was on the lookout for whiskey and bought an award winning one for a gift. Lots of liqueurs and other drinks of choice.
