The Homestead and outbuildings are classified by the National Trust of Australia and on the Council's list of Heritage sites. We are access friendly and offer activities for children. Please look out for us on your drive into Port Macquarie on the Oxley Highway . We are open Wednesday & Saturday 10am to 3pm.We welcome everyone.

This is a small and beautiful vineyard that you want to visit again and again. The selection of wines this year is excellent, with an impressive gallery and gift shop, Cheese platter on the deck with a glass of DeckChair White is lovely way to spend the afternoon.

It’s less than 35 minutes drive from Port Macquarie, you arrived at a hidden gem winery where they offer wine tasting and you can buy a few to take home. They had a cafe shop too. The Maze is also an attraction of the Bago Winery. Took us 30 minutes to find the way out. Must visit.

Major Innes oringally planted vines nearly 100 years ago on the property of which the Charley family now own. Bob and Jim Charley planted their first vines in 1988, which had previously been farmed by their father as a pineapple and banana plantation. You are invited to visit the vineyards cellar door and taste our wines.
Beautiful spot outside Port Macquarie with lovely food, friendly and attentive staff. The quality of the food was good value. We come from Sydney and couldn’t have eaten the tasty dishes for the price. It’s not cheap but the whole experience is worth every cent. I had the confit of duck, delicious and my fussy steak eater loved his steak .We also enjoyed the wine tasting at our table before lunch. I’m now a fan of the Blush rose wine.

The Cassegrain Winery is the ideal setting for all occasions, from a romantic wedding to a casual picnic, featuring extensive grounds, a formal garden with picnic areas and boasting over 2000 stunning rose bushes lining the entrance to the winery. The sweeping lawns of the Oval, set within the vineyards, forms a natural amphitheatre where a number of concerts are held each year.
My husband and I had a wonderful wine tasting followed by an equally wonderful lunch at Cassegrain wines and connected restaurant - twotriplefour - great wines, do yourself a favour and don’t miss this opportunity in port macquarie, thanks Philipe for your insight and knowledge of your fantastic wines. We were visiting our daughter who lives in Port Macquarie and she suggested we head to Roses Winery for the day. Who would believe three adults would have had such a lovely time in the petting zoo...but we did. Lovely to spend time with the animals, then after a clean up at the hand washing station, we headed to the cafe for lunch, a cuppa and a relax. Lunch was absolutely delicious.......nachos were fantastic! Service was quick, friendly and professional. Andrew, what can we say.....we were very impressed with the wine tasting service and having our chat about the wines, the winery and family...that was a highlight of our visit. Thank you for carrying our wines to our car, great service. The winery has something for every age, from the jumping castle and zoo for the children (and big kids), to the lovely gardens and vines for the more "mature" visitors. Thank you Rose, Andrew and staff at Roses Winery....it was just what the Doctor prescribed....we will be certainly be back to renew our script!
Cellar door mead tasting and sales at Newcastle Farmers Market every Sunday.
