If you are looking to borrow a book, DVDs, cd, etc. then look no further. This is a large library with ample books and resources for basic needs. People sometimes study upstairs as it is quiet, and use their computers. I donated some books recently and the staff were very nice. Plenty of books for sale that were really cheap.

The Old Colony History Museum houses significant collections which chronicle lives lived, wars waged, fortunes won and ingenuity rewarded. We encourage visitors to walk among our exhibits and discover regional history. Others can find their roots in our research library, specializing in local genealogy. The Museum's parent organization is the Old Colony Historical Society, one of the oldest organizations of its kind in New England. Founded in 1853, it serves the region of southeastern Massachusetts that was once part of the Plymouth Colony. At OCHM, we're committed to the preservation of our history through public engagement and community outreach. We're here to collect, curate, interpret and bring to vibrant life the history of the Old Colony, collaborating with the community to share those meaningful connections that knit together our past, present and future. We invite you to experience what we mean by history happens here. The Old Colony History Museum is located on historic Church Green in Taunton. The Museum has its headquarters in the former Bristol Academy, designed in 1852 by the New York architect Richard Upjohn.
I started going here for the genealogy and history library on the second floor, and then later on came to appreciate the ever changing exhibits on the first floor. The staff works hard to keep the information fresh and interesting, a challenge when working with the limitations of an old building that has an interesting history unto itself. A must visit place for anyone exploring the history of Taunton.

A great place to get a nature experience without having to travel to the country. There are a few miles of hiking trails and wildlife to see. Quite and clean. Parking area with picnic tables for lunch, a snack or bring a good book. There's a river side trail as well.

My wife and I have now gone to the Taunton Green 3years in a row around Christmastime. Christmas Carols playing, lights and old-fashioned displays of Carole’s, Santa, Candyland, trees, sleighs and more.
This year we actually got to see Santa in his workshop.
What a great job this city does as they offer FREE pictures with Santa!! FREE color prints for whoever wants one.
Just a sweet, local attraction for families to spend 30-40 minutes enjoying the lights, music and atmosphere.
Adorable.

love coming here for games - 4 outdoor fields for soccer team - the only thing better would be bleachers - but there's likely not enough room between fields to squeeze them in. the have indoor restrooms - some along the fields and some for the indoor guests. they have indoor fun zone for kids - and do indoor soccer/lax as well. Very large complex. pretty easy to get to from 495 or take the back roads...

It was a great place to hike when I visited. I had my dog and we were geocaching in the area. It is a beautiful place that you could easily spend the day. Take your bug spray!

This post office is located right around the rotary that locals refer to as "The Green". Granite and marble, old fashioned large structure. Hard to find parking for. The mail isn't even processed here anymore. It goes to the industrial park. So why this is even on here is a mystery.

I dedicate this review to Us the Pink Jury. Judge Brown and the Great Court Officers and Staff at the Bristol county Superior court in Taunton. Justice was seen October 27th in Taunton. Thankyou all for a great experience. This historic building built in 1826 once jailed Lizzie Borden in the basement and has been a historical building since 1978. I was not happy about Jury duty, but If I was called to serve again in Taunton I would definitely serve again in this Historic building with all these wonderful people.

It was a beautiful sounding name, and certainly it was a huge multi level mall, but it was over 80 percent empty! No stores, and desolate. Unfortunate
