There is no better time or place to confront your worst fears than this Halloween Season. Acres of terrorizing scenes and ghastly creatures on the Friedhoff Ranch are sure to enter the realms of your worst nightmares. What lurks among these trees? What fate does Opa Friedhoff have in store for you? Are clowns really that scary? Who's afraid of spiders anymore? DARE to walk amongst the terror trail This is an outdoor adventure so closed toe shoes are recommended. Food and other miscellaneous items will be available for purchase. The Haunted Trails are very scary. Please be advised that the show may be too intense for small children and those who cannot discern fantasy from reality. However you certainly know your child better than anyone.

This is a wonderful place! The architecture is beautiful and if you like to dance, its a wonderful dance floor. My only complaint is finding a close place to stay the night. Love this place!

State park known for great bird watching that offers tent-only and RV/tent sites.
We had such a wonderful day here! The staff members that we met were incredibly nice and very helpful. When asked about trail recommendations, one woman suggested the Curry Creek Overlook Trail. We are so glad we took her advice! It was a great trail with a variety of terrain and beautiful scenery. We hiked a few trails in the main park and in the Bauer Unit and there is definitely something for everyone here. The trails in the main park a far easier with wide, even pathways. The Bauer Unit is more for those looking for a true hike. Rough terrain and steep inclines abound in this area. As a bonus to this entire park, you can cool off in the river when you're done! It's very shallow and slow-moving. This was an absolutely beautiful park and we can't recommend it enough!

A redefined taste for quality, raw spirit, and a brilliant perspective; mix these attributes together and you have the recipe that encompasses all that is Rough Diamond Brewery. With a name that tips its hat to our founder’s past of working in international diamond mines and the serendipity of forging a craft brewery that is a diamond in the rough. We take only the best premium quality ingredients from around the world and combine them with our unparalleled dynamic brewing process. When all is said and done, we are left with a line of products that are genuinely a cut above the best. Here at Rough Diamond Brewery, you’ll notice that we take that extra step and it makes all the difference. We use only the finest quality ingredients found in local and international markets and refuse to serve anything that doesn’t meet our exemplary benchmark standards.
I love coming to the brewery. Love all of the selection of wonder how they come up with theirs beers. I have to laugh when people say things like the brewery "in the middle of no where" or "off the beaten path". Heart of the some of best hill country and in the middle of all the hill country hot spots. There is a food truck too been Cajun food as of late. Only ate the boudin balls which were good. Seem other things and looked good too.
