I am fascinated by old cemeteries, and this one is no exception. What I was unaware of is that the families of some of the deceased do not want pictures taken. A burial had taken place earlier in the day and a family member informed me. So I limited my photos to photos of the scraped earth practice that was evident, and general signage. Be aware since the sign about respecting the gravesonly mentions not disturbing the graves.

Our family had an amazing day hunting gemstones & ended up with some awesome finds: watermelon, pink, green & black tourmaline; garnets (one huge thumb-sized!)and even a chunk of aquamarine! Jay was a gracious guide with tons of helpful hints! Wish we had more time to do some more hunting!
