Cave B Estate Winery is an award-winning boutique winery located in the Ancient Lakes of Columbia Valley AVA (American Viticultural Area) in the very center of Washington State Wine Country. We make an impressive variety of wines as we grow a broad range of grape varieties, made possible in large part by the microclimates which exist in our distinctive cliff-side location, 900 feet above the Columbia River. We currently produce approximately 6,000 cases of Cave B wine a year under the Cave B Estate Winery and our Caveman Red & Cavewoman White labels combined. We also sell grapes & wine to other wineries as fruit, custom crushed juice or bulk wine. Our main tasting room is in Quincy,WA with our vineyards and production facility, located next door to the Cave B Inn & Spa and the Gorge Amphitheater. Our second tasting room is in Woodinville, WA
Attended Cave B Winery amphitheater on its inaugural event featuring the Yakima Symphony- what an incredible setting above the Columbia River, surrounded by the gorgeous vineyard, and fabulous architecture of Cave B's elaborate structures honed into the hillside.
The weather, the wine, and the setting were incredible, the strains of Beethoven's Fifth echoing off the cliffs, and a most fantastic sunset made for a spectacular evening in one of the most scenic settings anywhere in the world.
Ryan, the Tasting Room Manager, went out of his way to make our evening great and took time out to educate us the history of the vineyard and hotel, and provided enological insights into the wines- very classy!
Highly recommended!

We came here to see Guns N Roses and enjoyed our experience. The seating was comfortable with a nice view of the stage, the sound system was clear and loud without being overwhelming and the vending offered several good options for food. The only drawback was the parking. Trying to get parked at a huge event proved to be a little challenging as the parking staff were very disorganized. We left early to avoid a gaggle of cars trying to get out of there on a two lane stretch of road but I can only guess what a confused mess it was when trying to leave after the concert.

A hidden gem offering unbelievable geological history. Make sure you have a discovery pass allowing you to park and walk the 20 minutes to the cliff edge of the basalt canyon, you can visualize the the ice age dame bursting and the water crashing and carving its way into the Columbia river basin thousands of years ago.

Perfect for all ages, beautiful scenery and on weekdays less crowded . can walk anywhere from 2 to 6 miles. If backpacking , I recommend camping at Dusky Lake it's less crowded. We saw red-winged blackbirds, Eagles, heard eagles and even spotted a California quail.
We saw few flowers in early April but should experience nice wildflowers starting in May

Pete Beaumont has created some very fine wines. You can reach his place off of White Trail Road by turning onto an unpaved orchard road and driving in about 1/2 mile. He is developing the tasting room area to host outdoor events and tastings (As I understand it, he actually had one over the Fourth of July holiday). It is really a nice little spot. So .... as for his products. We loved the Syrah, Malbec, and Cab Franc . His Cabernet Sauvignon is also very good, as well as a very nice Columbia Valley Chardonnay for those occasions when only a white will do. He also has a very drinkable red blend called Babcock Ridge Red. We will go back to Beaumont Cellars every time we are back in the Quincy area.

Jones of Washington is a family-owned winery, with vineyards located along the Columbia River in central Washington state. As one of the first families to farm these productive and scenic lands, we watch over our estate vineyards and world-class grapes as if they were a son or daughter. The same commitment is applied to our artisan wines, which receive the love and attention only people closely tied to the land can provide.
We visited the Jones Winery tasting room for my husband's birthday. Upon entering, we were graciously greeted and immediately offered wine glasses-yes please! Their tasting menu is custom built with 20 or so wines to choose from. We appreciated this because everyone in our party has a very different palate. After our tastings, we were offered to revisit any wines we wanted to. We left with a cute reusable bag full of Jones wine. If you have time, stop in their tasting room!

We were able to sample several whites and red wines downtown Seattle at Pike Street markets. We live over 2,500 miles from here. I would love to check out the winery grounds at Quincy. It looks absolutely breath taking.
The Malbec and Roussanne was absolutely amazing wines to try. Normally we will buy a case or two. But since we are on vacation we usually stick to a bottle or two.
I recommend this place.
