Portarlington Beach is a white sand beach, a great beach for lazing the day away. The beach is on Port Phillip Bay, the water is placid -- it's a great place for families. Just remember to slip, slop, slap.

Walking the Pier is the thing to do in [Portarlington...it is a genuinely nice walk past the fishing boats and visitors fishing off the pier and the amazing Ferry from Melbourne arrives here.

Portarlingtonj Mill was a steam-powered flour mill when the Bellarine region was "the breadbasket of the colony." The mill is made of local stone, ashlar built. The Mill is still strurdy and it is used for functions. The Mill contains many industrial antiques, which are worth seeing. The stairs are steep, but anyone of average fitness can handle then.

The local golf club has been great to visit again for lunch but with Covid rules and it's nearby to where we live. Don't forget your mask. Signing in at reception is very good with checking drivers licence. New area done with renovations looking out to the golf course. There is a new menu and every day specials. I had a beautiful meal of honey sesame crispy prawns which were big, rice, chips and salad from the new menu. It was delicious, would order it again, not overly sweet with the honey just right amount and prawns were juicy, crispy batter and yummy. My partner had the risdoles with bacon, mash and veggies.
