It is a very popular place in namhae. We reach there around noon time, the place very crowded. We spend 3 hours hike around the temple, we met lot if hikers, they are super friendly. The view from the temple soooo amazing. A place worth to visit.

The Island of Namahae is one of the best places in South of Korea to explore both beach and forest. The drive to Daerangi village will bring you along the coastline and gives you an amazing view of the ocean.
The village has great combination of rice terraces and a perfect view of the ocean. You can see the farmers working on their field.

편백나무에서 무슨 피톤치드?라는게 나온다던데 아무튼 공기도 맑고 좋았습니다. 올라가는 길이 약간 고생길이기는 했지만 개울?폭포?이런것도 있어서 상쾌하고 재미있었어요 가족끼리 여름에 놀러갈만한 곳!

It was 40min drive from the resort I stayed in. This place came to be commercialized after spotted by some enthusiastic broadcasters of earlier years.
This place itself now does not have much point since many of original residents had left. I would not have spent 40min on the road if I had known this place. If you have too much time to kill it would not be bad as I thought it was.
40분이나 멀미에 시달리며 간 것 치고는 좀 그랬습니다 볼것도 즐길 것도 너무 부족했고 옆에 예술촌 정원은 좀 볼거리가 있었으나 입장료에 비하면 이게 뭔가-란 생각이 개인적으로 들었습니다.
제가 구경한 독일마을은 입장료가 없어 좋았지만 군데군데서 파는 아이스크림과 여타 음식들은 가격대비 질이 너무 별로였습니다 전형적인 관광지 요금이었죠 안타까운 생각이 들었습니다. 마을 위 박물관은 저렴하고 아기자기한 전시물이 좋았다고 생각합니다.

this is a small exhibition space for modern art, located in the backhills of Namhae-do. A nice excursion off the beaten track (at least when I visited), and if the weather is nice as the landscape is peaceful.

It's a bit far from namhae town, it took bout 1 hour bus ride to reach here. Once arrived the garden, i was amazed by the landscape and the plants decorated in the garden. It has different themed houses in the garden, Fountain, observation deck, green house, nice coffee shop etc. The snacks and drinks a bit overpriced but still worth to try it because their shop provide serene and cozy environment. The local highly recommended their ice-cream and sausage. Well, ice cream is the best thing to have specially in summer, lol... Opps, the German village (Mulgeon) just next to the garden.

임진왜란이 발발하고..
충무공 이순신장군이
거제도 옥포에서 큰 승리를 이끌자
왜놈들이 복수하기 위해 다시 옥포로
진격한다는 소문이 돌았다고 합니다
그 소문을 들은 남해 옥포 사람들이이
살짝~~~ 착각을 하고
언능 산성을 쌓게 되는데 그것이
임진성이라는 이야기...
규모는 둘레가 대략 300미터..
작은 산성입니다.
동문입구까지 차가 갈 수 있어서
한바퀴 돌며 경치를 구경하고
또 옛 사람들을 생각하면서
사색할 수 있는 곳입니다.

우비입고 안개비 내리는날 산책을 했어요. 유배문학관이 남해읍을 지나갈때마다 보여서 한번 차를 세워 보았답니다. 주차장이 굉장히 크고 유배문학관을 들어가지 않더라고 문학관주변 정원이 잘 꾸며져 있어서 조각도 많고 볼것도 많아서 아이들하고 가기에도 좋을것 같습니다.
