Just back from the park. Very nice place with a lot of tulips which just fully blossomed.
They tried to make it look like Keukenhof in The Netherlands. You can find all the colors of flowers from white to almost black (more very deep dark purple)
You can visit some part of the castle, and the old church.
There you can also find a butterfly house, but it is not very big.
A big place for kids where they can play and go treasure hunting.
Cafe in the park is not very big, have some good food and beverages.
Entrance: 95 kr. and big free parking right next to.

We stopped at the Museum briefly until our house was ready. We got a very warm welcome from the lady who greeted us and the Museum is bigger than we expected. Our nine year old son had a great time and we could have spent longer there. Today they offered free coffee and cake for adults and an ice cream for the kids. Surrounding area does not look that appealing but the Museum is well worth a visit.

I flotte historiske rammer.

The ticket for this museum also gets you entry into the Helligåndshuset on the other side of the town centre, so be sure to keep it when you leave. The boderne (a mediaeval terrace) house ceramics from a former Naestved pottery that later moved to the Holmegård glass works nearby, as well as glass from the works. It's worth visiting if you aren't going to the glass works, but if your main interest is glass I expect there is a larger collection at the Holmegård visitor centre. There's also a room containing the work of several silversmiths who used to work in Naestved. The collections are well displayed, and there is information on the history of the pottery. Worth an hour of anyone's time - or at least, anyone interested in ceramics and glass.

Enste opsætning af Evita her i Arena Næstved.
