We read about this place and Marine City in a Detroit Free Press Column. The Mariner was highlighted and truly deserved the recognition. Although only open on weekends, if you call ahead they will open for any sized party (we were 4). For $8 per person it was a great tour of various models, clocks, furniture, toys and a dolls house. The Titanic model is fabulous and the accompanying short movie and posted information and pictures make for a well rounded exhibit. There are artifacts from the 2 Boblo Boats which used to cruise the Detroit River. Flags from the boats are on display as well. Really a wonderful attraction in a very cute town on the banks of the St. Clair River.

I recently moved to Marine City and LOVE spending my time in MC Marketplace. Full of beautiful artwork, fun gifts, home decor, trendy apparel and so much more. Every time I shop there I see something new.

One of the nicest camp grounds I’ve visited this year. Loved the shooting range, Sitting watching the ships and friendly campers. Clean and well organized.

The Snug Theatre opened in July 2013 to overwhelming support from Marine City and nearby areas. Sold out shows like Hello, Dolly! and Gypsy prompted owners to open a second venue, Riverbank Theatre in order to meet demand. The Snug will continue to offer professional live theater and special events like Comedy Nights, Puppet Shows, Guest Speakers and more.
