Came here with a work friend and spent two lovely hours relaxing and painting. I made a plaque for my parents’ new house and it looks great. The staff were really helpful and showed us which tools to use for which design. Cafe good..lacking in vegan and decaf options but more than happy to just make me a warm mug of oat milk which was lovely.

We had a great walk today around the Humber Bridge Country Park. Our daughter and dog had a brilliant time around the park and was shattered after our walk. It’s a shame parts of the park was flooded but we still had a fantastic time.

Been here a few times and it's a cracking little place to pop in for a few drinks day or night. Really good selection of craft beers and a good friendly atmosphere too. Top marks all round.

Situated on the North Bank of the Humber Estuary close to the Humber Bridge Country Park, Hessle mill is a unique example of an early 19th century whiting windmill. This industrial mill was used to crush chalk to produce whiting inside the whiting works which once attached to the surviving tower. The tower is scheduled to re-open as part of a new heritage trail called The Chalk Walk, which will provide an insight into the chalk quarry that now forms the park, the mill's operational history and the site's latter use as a place of leisure and recreation. The Chalk Walk is due to be completed in Autumn 2019.
