We thought this was the gateway to the peach farm-it is not. Just a unique water tower that’s kind of cool, and peachy!

Located just 50 minutes south of Charlotte, Gaffney Outlet Marketplace is located in the heart of the Carolina foothills, en route to many major southern destinations including Asheville, Greenville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The center's location is ideal for groups or as a day trip for visitors. Gaffney Premium Outlets is easily accessible directly off of I-85 at Exit 90 just after the giant Gaffney peach water tower. Local and regional Shop & Stay packages are available.
This is a small outlet but a good place to stop on I-85 and stretch your legs. There are many name stores and a small clean food court to with an on duty hostess to give local information. Parking is busy on the front I-85...MoreChinhome, we are very happy we could provide you with a positive experience! Thank you, and have a fantastic day!

Bowling alley, movie theatres, an outdoor Pirate themed putting course, video game room ( where you dont really see many people going to) and more. Ideal for groups or a place to drop the teens off on the weekends. It is located in the same area as the famous Gaffney Premium Outlet where Michael Kors, Guess, Gap and others have stores. Fairly clean, patrolled, and spacious. On an average weekend you will see plenty of families having a good time, bowling or at the theaters.
If you do both shopping and heading out to The Big E, expect to spend several hours. The premium mall is HUGE, with over 70 premium stores, It is one heck of a workout. But once you are at the Big E, you can relax more as they have more places to sit. I do recommend parents stay with younger children it you go to the putting course. There is an above ground walk that could pose a danger to some.

There is a surprisingly large lot of history connected with Cherokee County, SC - from Moonshiners to Peach Farmers to Dairymen to Movie-makers and more. This Museum is well-organized and thoughtfully presents interesting stories from the area. If in the area, don;t overlook this gem of local history. (And bring your smart phone for some of the interactive exhibits.)

If you enjoy basic good ol' Southern dirt track racing you will love this place. The admission is only $12 per person with children 12 and under free. There is plenty of free adjoining parking. There is plenty of food selections available at its grill or you can bring your own food and cooler. You can bring your own adult beverages if you do not sit in the family section. I would think that you would be most discreet if you do elect to bring adult drinks. The racing programs are generally on Saturday nights. I would suggest that you arrive around 6pm. The final racing events usually last to after 10pm. I also would suggest that you go to their website or facebook page for current dates and events. My family had a great time and plan to return when we are able.

Black Horse Antiques is located in historic downtown Gaffney, South Carolina. Just minutes from I-85 and the outlet mall. Between Atlanta and Charlotte this location is along your journey and worth the trip. Huge selection of fine furniture, glassware and collectables at competitive prices. No trip to Gaffney is complete without visiting Black Horse Antiques.
I really loved going through this place. The people working there were very friendly and nice. You enter from the door on the side of the building towards the back. They offer a little bit of everything here and my husband found another vintage wooden putter to add to his collection . The old building is lovely and I enjoyed seeing the original wood floors, the exposed brick walls, and the well worn stairs.

We were escape room newbies...and weren't sure what to expect. Now we're hooked! It was a blast. Much more challenging than we thought it would be (we did 'escape' but not without a few helpful hints). Our kids are both under 13 but had plenty...MoreThank you! We definitely enjoyed having your family on the case... and the Jr. Detectives were quite impressive! We are looking forward to seeing you all again when our next room opens in March.

This place seems to be mostly glass, China, and furniture. It's a nice place but really didn't offer the type of collectibles that we are interested in. I also found that many of the aisles didn't appear wide enough to easily accommodate a wheelchair. They offered some beautiful things but it just wasn't that special. Still worth checking out if you are in Gaffney. You may just find something.
