Brodnica is a town in north-central Poland with 28,574 inhabitants as of 2014. Previously part of Toruń Voivodeship province, from 1975 to 1998, Brodnica is situated in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship since 1999.

Definitely the longest nature reserve in Poland, possibly in Europe, covering the whole length of Drweca river: 207 km, plus some smaller tributaries, nearly 2000 ha of covered area, river itself and up to 5 meters each way from river banks. Very popular for kayaking trips.
