Whitefish Bay National Forest Scenic Byway

It's a beautiful drive along Michigan's lakeshore with plenty of stop off's to either go for a swim or just dip your toes into Lake Superior. It's a quiet, two lane drive with tall trees and views of the water for miles. If you're in the area, take the up north way of life route and slow down for a gorgeous drive.

The views are breathtaking and the course conditions and service are top-notch. With five sets of tees, you can play a course length that fits you best on this challenging 18-hole course. Practice on the world class double tee'd driving range, and two putting greens, and you will be ready to play the course that Michelle Wie chose for her first attempt at challenging the men. Golf carts with GPS are included when you play on Wild Bluff's wide fairways and large greens. When you finish, relax with great food and drinks in the Players Lounge before heading back to the casino.

Fantastic beach and nice board walk so those with mobility issues can enjoy the property. The best beach for rock gathering and taking a nice un-interrupted walk along the beach.

We enjoyed our times there. It has every we liked but we don't play tables so I can't speak to that. The food was good. The machines were fine and we felt looser than many casinos. We were able to play longer and enjoyed it. People more friendly up there, surprisingly not as much smoking.. Just a little more intimate. We did not stay there...we stayed in Brimley.

Nice campground, friendly rangers and camp hosts. The view is very pretty from our site. Will make this a return stay when we’re in the UP. Photo with red arrow points to a Pileated Woodpecker hopping into the ground hunting for bugs.
