People were pleasant and very knowledgeable. They offered a free guide which we highly recommend. Our guide knew his history & we heard memorable stories. Ask about Norma Jeane Mortensen/ Marilyn Monroe!!! These are dedicated individuals keeping aviation history alive thru restoration of historical aircraft. You don’t have to be into aviation to enjoy this museum. It is history.

This place is a hidden gem in Beaver Falls, Pa. A very short hike to get to the waterfall. You can walk behind the falls and swim on a warm day if you choose. Its a shame that people litter in such a beautiful place.
We’ve been trying to get out in the open air on a regular basis during the Corona Virus shutdown, sometimes looking for local places we can explore without a crowd. Having never been to Buttermilk Falls, we went there a couple days ago and were pleasantly surprised! It is beautiful! It’s not a large park but just calm and picturesque; we took a number of photos. If you walk up the hill on the narrow paved road, there is a quaint Methodist Church with a parking lot and adjacent continuation of Buttermilk Falls Park with picnic tables overlooking the beginning of the Falls. Very delightful, perfect for an afternoon walk for a couple hours. I can’t believe that we missed this local site even having lived in the area for 45 years. We’ll certainly return with a bagged lunch!
