The beach is clean and well maintained. Every day we saw the garbage men and the sand sweeper come by in the early morning hours to get the beach ready for the day.
There are no bathroom facilities where we were on 17th Street but our place we were staying at was only a few blocks away so it wasn't so bad.
The water was clear and the waves all depend on the weather but we lucked out with great beach weather.
If you are looking for a family oriented beach it's a good option for you and you won't be disappointed.

This place is run by old volunteer nursing home ladies who hate kids. Signs saying kids running loose will be kicked out and old ladies screaming at kids isn't a good time. What kind of crap museum isn't made for kids? The exhibits were small and uninteresting. Waste of space and should be shut down immediately. Not worth the gas going there.

We are a small Amusement Park in Beach Haven, NJ. Open full time only about 10 weeks out of the year, we do our best to bring our guests good family fun in a clean and safe environment. We have been here for over 30 years and going strong, thanks to our valued customers. Our arcade is open weekends in the off season. We love to hear your feedback...when we know better, we try and do better!
Just visited this past weekend. Just for 2 people to go on 3 rides was $32. Not sure how a large family can do it. I have been coming here with my kids for over 32 years. Still the family place to go. Clean

From it's humble beginnings under a tent in 1950, Surflight Theatre has been a premier venue for live theatre, and is the only professional theatre in Ocean County, NJ. Surflight offers a full summer season of broadway quality productions, along with Childrens' Theatre, Concerts, and the world famous Show Place Ice Cream Parlour.
We saw "Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" this week at this newly reopened theater and it was fantastic. They had an adorable chorus of small children throughout the show and great actors and actresses. We especially loved the Pharoah and his Elvis impression routine. Everyone was so energetic and the show was so up-to-date it was amazing. The stage looked wonderful and hard for all the dancers to fit on but they did and did a great job. We'll be back next summer!

Went here with a 10 year old, 5 year old and a 3 year old and there was something for everyone. Clean water park, attentive staff. Smaller kid area has been redone this season and looks great. Slides for all sizes toddler to adults! It is a little pricey would be my only issue.

We hit up the museum on a rainy day during our week stay at LBI. Great history about the island and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We stayed about 30 mins to an hour. Would definitely recommend for a bad weather day.

This is a smaller less challenging course than others on LBI. It's small scale makes it perfect for little ones although even older kids will enjoy it. There are other larger courses that will take a lot longer and be too hard for little kids. $7 per adult. Get a hole-in-one on No. 18 and win a card for a free game.

Schooners Wharf has really made a fabulous come back. Flowers are blooming every where, new unique stores have been added and our favorites are still here. Everyone loves Buddys Pet Stop, where dogs are always welcome and the biscuit bar flows with natural treats. Jewels by the Bay has unique one of a kind pieces as well as LBI specific jewelry. The Toy Store,Book Store and Tropics never fail to offer great finds. I also love the new fresh fruit drinks at the coffeee shop and my favorite will always be the rasberry frozen yogurt at the ice cream shop. Definitely worth the trip!
