Water is clean and warm. Rocky beaches with some sand. Bring your bug spray... mosquitoes live here! Quaint village with an amazing amount of services and retail stores nearby.

Went to explore the waterfront and enjoyed a walk along the wharf. Plenty of shore birds and a flock of white pelicans. We also some some river otters scampering about. Definitely worth a stop.

R.J. Haney Heritage Village & Museum is looking carefully at the guidelines and procedures necessary to safely open to the public and to ensure the safety of our staff and volunteers. We are committed to our efforts to flatten the curve and reduce the impact of COVID-19 in our community. Until we can safely navigate these procedures and proper protocols are in place, the Heritage Village, Museum, Sprig of Heather Restaurant and walking trails will remain closed to the public. Although our gates are closed to the public, some staff are still on hand managing operations and protecting our valuable exhibits and artifacts. We are taking every measure to ensure we continue to preserve and maintain our assets during this unprecedented time. We want to be ready to re-open to the public as soon as we safely can and to be here for future generations. For more information visit our website www.salmonarmmuseum.org
A top notch place of great historical interest which keeps on growing every year. No longer a small scale museum but a first class, state of the art facility with all modern aspects such as climate controlled, underground archives and facilities for volunteer staff to sort out the magnitude of artefacts that are being donated every year. The new ‘city block’ of replica store fronts stores and buildings is a magnificent addition to the Park and plans are in the works to expand the tearoom . This unique and professionally run attraction, deserves a lot more support from local folks and their visitors.

Operating Grass Fed Cow Dairy Farm with on farm milk and cheese production. Open to the public Monday through Saturday 8:30- 5:00PM.
Friendly informative staff. The cheese is wonderful and the yogurt second to none. I was there today and they had nice gift bags made up of different cheeses, great for Xmas giving and well priced.

I always make time for a walk around this little lake when I am in town. I have seen the lovely resident Painted Turtles resting on logs, various species of ducks, heard the red-winged blackbirds call and yesterday saw both an Osprey and the biggest Great Blue Heron I have ever seen at the lake. Great place to walk the dog, say hi to the locals and get some fresh air. Oh and the blooming lilies are gorgeous....

We are one of the last tower water slides left standing in Canada, and have a great set of activities for the whole family! We feature 4 large tower water slides, 3 smaller kiddie slides combined with fountains and shallow pools, mini putt, high performance remote control car racing on our custom-built track, and EVEN an arcade so you can get out of the sun but keep having fun! Don`t forget, we also have an RV park on location so that the family can stick around and enjoy beautiful Salmon Arm! Please visit our website linked on this page for pricing and more details.
Had a blast at the watersides! Took our 3 and 4 year old this July. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. There are 4 big slides which are great for adults (me and my husband felt like kids again) you go so fast! Our 4 year old was tall enough to ride alone, any our 3 year old rode in our laps which was fun. There is also a rad little toddler section with 3 pools and 3 slides that they can ride alone. We went during COVID and the place felt clean and everyone kept their distance waiting in lines for the slides and hand sanitizer is all over the place. Washrooms were clean also. We will definitely be back. Tips - arrive a bit before 11, so you don't have to wait inline to get in, bring snack/drinks, and make sure you have a small bag to lock up stuff if need as the lockers are tiny.
