Lafayette is part college town, part natural landscape and part lively urban center. Across the Wabash River in West Lafayette, Purdue University draws a diverse young student population to the city. A walking tour of downtown Lafayette reveals a historic core of Victorian architecture, unique shops and public art. Nature abounds in the city and area parks, including Columbian Park, the Celery Bog wetlands, the Jerry E. Clegg Botanical Garden along Wildcat Creek and Wolf Park in Battle Ground.

My college students and I focused on 4 activities: the corn maze(s), the pumpkin patch, a fire pit for s'mores, and food (elephant ears, hot chocolate, etc.). Everything was terrific. There is great attention to detail and taking care of customers. We took a hayride to the pumpkin patch (which you can easily walk to instead, if you wish), and there's a wide range of sizes and types of pumpkins to pick and buy. It costs $20 to reserve a fire pit, but they provide the firewood and keep the fire going for you. When our group came out of the corn maze, the fire was ready to go and we were ready for s'mores. Oh, and the bathrooms are surprisingly nice!

You have 60 minutes. Can you breakout? Mission: Breakout is an escape game adventure brought to life. Players are "locked" in a themed room and have to work together with other players to solve clues, to work on puzzles, and to find the key to breakout before time runs out! Think you've got what it takes? Give one of our three uniquely themed rooms a try. It's fun and addicting!
I think it is an important when looking at businesses to see that they are supporters of their community and surrounding area. Eric has gone above and beyond for our non profit in Montgomery County, donating several items to our silent auction. When a business owner is generous to those around him, it shows true character and I believe those are the businesses that should be supported. Thank you Eric for an awesome escape room experience as well as for your generosity to our silent auction.

This place is amazing!!! I've done two rooms now, the Bank Heist (with Cynthia as our game master) and The Morgue (with Misty as the game master). Both times were excellent and both game masters were fantastic. I cant wait to to back and do another one!!!

The butterfly garden was closed, so we almost didn't go, but this zoo was great. The petting zoo with the goats was fun. Seeing a live eagle close up was really cool. Didn't know they look like they're wearing fancy pants. The wallaby walk-about was super neat. I wish I'd have heard the singing dogs sing. My son did some research on them afterwards and they have an interesting story. Great visit.

We LOVE the orchard, and my kids feel right at home here, and love doing the You Pick! The apple cider slushies in the summer are an absolute MUST have, and in the Winter I love that they hold the makers market and have such charming holiday activities for family! We really enjoyed the makers market and they had hot cocoa and warm cider and cookies, and the kids got to get pictures with Santa, and I got to get some really unique one of a kind Christmas gifts, all in one stop! I know right??? Love it!

Clegg Garden resides on the hillside overlooking state scenic waterway Wildcat Creek. The slopes feature a rare gravel hill prairie ecosystem. From creek side to hilltop elevation changes 100 feet, making for excellent hiking opportunity along the mile of trail. The looping trail meanders through oak woodland, gravel hill prairie, riparian corridor and savanna. Different seasons afford varying highlights. Spring woodland blooms dapple the understory, summer prairie and savanna wildflowers show off vibrant colors, fall leaf change presents a panoply of color in the forest canopy. Year round visitors see the striking landscape views from the many overlooks.

Imagination Station has been serving the Greater Lafayette Area as a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (collectively known as STEM) Center for over twenty years. From exciting field trips, to outstanding exhibits that change often, Imagination Station is the place for families to engage with STEM in fun and exciting ways.
We took our two youngest grandsons to Imagination Station and they had a great time! Both boys loved the giant blocks. The four year old loved the kitchen area and the eight year old found the special area that was staffed by a Purdue group very exciting. Both boys had fun on the slide and want to return this week!
