Evergreen Line is the new 11 kilometer addition to the Sky Train transit system travelling between Lafarge Lake to Lougheed Mall
The long awaited Evergreen Line Skytrain finally opened on 2016 December 2. The Evergreen Line operates between VCC–Clark Station and Lafarge Lake–Douglas Station. Once in awhile we will take the Skytrain. The last time we took the skytrain was in August. That time was more than just transportation from one spot to the other. Because I sat on the first car and the front seat I can see where it goes. It was just like sitting on the driver seat. I can see the cars go along the track, ups and downs and turns; like a roller coaster. That was an exciting and entertaining ride. Happy Travelling!3)

At the south west corner of this great park is the Christmas Light Display around Lafarge Lake area. Lights at 4:30PM daily and runs to mid January. There is 1.2 km long walk around the lake surrounded by the light displays. Really is a GEM of an opportunity to go experience. Beautiful!

Used to live 3 block away, a small piece of heaven in Coquitlam. Soft surface running or walking track surrounding stocked lake, open to juvenile and senior anglers. Platform built to facilitate safe fishing. Fairly large parking lot for those who can’t walk, but enjoy beauty, nature and quiet.

What to say? Old growth forest, small lakes, trail system with excellent drainage so that it never gets muddy, even with all the rain we have here. Dog friendly areas and trail times. Whenever I walk or jog through the park, I'm reminded that the most relaxing colour is green.

The light displays around the Lafarge Lake gets better every year! Note: It's Free to See! Also vehicle parking is also free, although I recommend you need to come early as it gets very busy on any evening! Nicely organized giving everyone directions for walking around the lake. If you like mini doughnuts & hot chocolate there a some tasty treats for everyone to enjoy! Washrooms for the public are also available for the public.

Bowling is a blast at Coquitlam's Zone Bowling! We have a modern 5 and 10 pin bowling alley like no other in the lower mainland. We have activities for everyone which make us the family destination in Coquitlam! Enjoy our modern video arcade with pool tables, three 25 foot video screens on game days or during Cosmic Bowling while eating great food.
