After many years of volunteer work in the field of protection of the environment I decided to turn my passion for nature and for Sicily also in work. I'd like people knew (and loved) my land. It's wonderful with its nature, history, cuisine, geology and the ancient origins. I love to get people to Etna, one of the most famous an beautiful volcanoes in the world, recently declared a UNESCO World Heritage. In Acicastello and Acitrezza I can show you the first examples of volcanic activity in our area. In Taormina and Syracuse the history of ancient Greece. I'm a freelance guide and I drive a 9 seats van, so I can make very cheap proposals for families and little groups. I've been joining the campaign of "Addiopizzo", the organisation established by citizens who refuse to pay the "pizzo", the Mafia extortion money.

Born from a strong passion for nature and for the most Volcano largest in Europe. The drivers are multilingual experts: trails, caves, lava flows, craters and all the information to make the tour a unique and fascinating. Trips by car and minivan drivers who besides being professional and multilingual stand for passion and knowledge of the area.

In a corner of the most beautiful coastline of Catania, four platforms hovers above the rocks offering an elegant relax corner.
Awesome Castle on black lava rock cliff above the ionian sea. From here was possible see enemy from sea and from land. Today is one place don't forget to see. From the top the view is fantastic. Second my preferences it will be awesome during the storm days when the big waves hit the rock and the little drops of water nebulizer on the air making the atmosphere under the light more mystical

From high up on the cliffs of Taormina, the black sand beaches off to the far right on the horizon beckon. After two weeks of phenomenal beach visits from Ortigia, Castellammare, Cefalù, and beyond, the insatiable traveler has to keep one’s bathing suit handy in the carry-on for one more final swim on the way to the airport in Catania Lungomare Di Acitrezza is heavenly. Sicily beaches have taught me well. First, locate a ladder and then jump in!

This small sea side town is the absolute place to be to immerse yourself in Sicilian/Italian culture. Me and my family never heard anyone else speaking English the whole time we were there. There is no sand here, just rocks but there are four or five platforms, kind of like piers which allow you easy access for swimming and sunbathing. The locals call them lidos and it’s about €10 for all day access plus umbrella and lounger. A few nice cocktail bars, many restaurants, all largely fish based are the mainstay at night. Young people queue for granita with brioche at cafes in the daytime. You can easily walk to the next town, Aci Castello along the promenade in about 15 mins and visit it’s Norman castle which is amazing. The views from that and the village itself are gorgeous. The sea here is very very clear. We took trips by taxi to Castelmola (hilltop village), Taormina (with cable car to beach). And then on another day, Mount Etna plus a wine tasting at the Nicosia winery near Catania. On yet another day, we went to Catania historic centre, Duomo, and so on. Special mention to the taxi firm Sea Bus of Catania. Sebastiano especially, but also Nicola and everyone. A very professional firm with friendly, helpful, people who act as tour guides as they go along! The weather was very hot indeed, perfect for swimming but probably not city walking around. My favourite holiday for a good while.
